The President Hotel, Hubli

A centrally located, well maintained, efficiently managed value-for-money hotel. The rooms were clean, well maintained and of a decent size. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the lovely Lake Unakal (just opposite the hotel) in the evening. Unfortunately, only the front facing rooms with balconies offer the Lake view. The service levels were responsive and efficient. The vegetarian breakfast on the top floor jungle themed restaurant (with wonderful views of the Lake) was sumptuous and delicious. Our experience was further enhanced by the enthusiastic staff catering to the guests.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a breakfast buffet at President.The spread was impressive, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. Overall Experience - The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations, offering a delightful dining experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying breakfast.

Our family of four, including two kids, stayed at the President Hotel, Hubli, for two nights, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a higher room category, which set the tone for a memorable stay.||The staff's attitude was outstanding--always hospitable, with warm smiles and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure our comfort. It's rare to come across such genuinely caring and attentive service.||The rooms were immaculate, well-maintained, and provided a cozy retreat after our busy days. We explored all three of the hotel's restaurants, each offering a unique and delightful dining experience. The Andhra meals were a flavorful highlight, the vegetarian dishes in the jungle-themed restaurant were a treat, and the cave-themed restaurant served an eclectic menu that was simply mouthwatering. Every meal was delicious and left us wanting more.||The breakfast buffet deserves special mention. The variety and quality were outstanding, and I couldn't get enough of the spread!||Overall, the President Hotel is a fantastic choice for families and travelers seeking excellent hospitality, clean accommodations, and unforgettable culinary experiences. Will stay here again if I am ever in Hubli

I had an unplanned trip to Hubli following a business meeting, and I chose to stay at The President Hotel, Hubballi, booking a Suite room for added comfort. After a long drive from Bengaluru, my intention was to rest and recharge for a hectic day ahead.||||However, at around midnight, the air conditioning unit in the bedroom began making loud, disturbing noises. I immediately reported this to the reception/hotel manager on night duty. To my surprise, I was initially offered a table fan as a temporary solution--despite having paid a premium for a Suite room that includes air conditioning.||||Only after insisting that I could not sleep without AC was I offered an alternative room. Unfortunately, I had to move my own luggage from Suite 121 to Room 321, with no assistance provided.||||Given the standard expected from a property of this level, I was disappointed with both the handling of the situation and the overall hospitality. Additionally, it's worth noting that the hotel lacks a closed parking facility, which may be inconvenient for guests traveling by car.||||I hope this feedback is taken constructively to help improve guest experience in the future.

Location is great, enough parking available. Staff is courteous and very helpful. Breakfast was good, not too many options, but it was just right. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Quality of pillows could've been a bit better, but I managed with an extra pillow. Definitely recommend for a short stay.
