Hotel Ashoka Towers

Hotel rooms are big and clean but the bathroom and toilet are under satisfactory. Gives a vintage feel, nice for single occupancy, and the rates are very reasonable. If the management would have taken some consideration renovation I would have given 5 / 5

This is easily THE WORST hotel I have ever been to. The chance of you getting an average room versus one that is disgusting is pure luck. We had booked two rooms for the exact same price: One of which was an average room with an okay European bathroom. The other one however had dirty, old tiles with chipped paint on the walls, food crumbs on the table and bedsheets that were clearly old and faded, but the bathroom is purely and utterly disgusting with broken tiles, a filthy and old Indian toilet with a clogged floor drain.

Only location of hotel is okay, we are stayed here on 14 sept in room no 314, there is the room cost is 1,200/- and rooms are very dirty and damaged conditions, bathroom drain chocked, toilet is dirty, when come out to shower my feet gone black due to unclean floor, there is no plug in room for mobile charger. Only one option is available in kitchen. Very pathetic condition. I really not suggest for stay here.

Worst rooms ever seen, we we're 8 members and got 2 large rooms in 3rd floor rooms we're too scary and goofy least maintained dirty washrooms. Not recommended for family stay.

Can stay for 1 night but didn't expect too much cleanliness about room . Rooms are not maintaining properly . Beds ,linens,pillow and pillow covers are not clean . Toilet pipes are not working. Broken windows and non functioning television. No restaurant facilities. For 3 beded room 1800per day. Nb: keep a mosquito bats or goodnight

To start with, the location of the hotel is amazing. It is a 5 minute walk from the Hubli Railway Station and a 10 minute walk to the main city. However, there was negligible service available as we had to take our luggage ourselves.||Secondly, the place is huge but really badly maintained. The lift works at its own will. The huge galleries and corridors that the hotel boasts of, are not equipped with fans either.||The rooms were spacious, but not clean. The beds seemed like a set of furniture pulled out of a junk yard and put together just in time. We had to get the bed sheets replaced by force after fighting with a steward. The toilet seat was broken and bathrooms weren't cleaned. Hot water in the pipes came only in the morning. In some bathrooms the tap was clogged and my grandmother had to be shifted twice. There was no kitchen attached so forget getting breakfast; the staff gets tea from a nearby restaurant in a flask. Lastly, the owner denied having received a payment online even though we showed him the confirmation SMS from the bank and he was rude. We were told how the property was divided amongst 3 brothers and how the owner hand squandered a reputation of a once popular grand hotel.

Terrible... These guys have Eyes on only ine thing.. Your Wallet. I Booked a simple room here on Make my trip and got the creepiest Room I ever stayed in my life. U CAN EXPECT HOW DOES IT FEEL If the outlet of the wash basin is right on the floor where You stand. Take my Word friends . Don't even think about Accepting "Room number 9" in that so called hotel.

Is fine for the price you pay but the 'simple rooms' are horrible, public bathrooms i believe will be in better condition. Needless to say these rooms are filled with mosquitoes, are unsanitized and are generally used by people to smoke up. My recommendation - Unless you dont have any other option opt for the 'standard room' else a night stay at the railway retiring room is 100x better.
