BASAVASHRI Old Age Home, Orphanage, Mentally Retarded Centre, Hubballi

We booked a room here with them through through goibibo. We had spoke with the owner of this place over a phone call and they had confirmed twice that they will be able to give us a dorm for the 5 of us. Later, on the day of check in they informed us that they can't provide dorm for girls. Moreover they said that they had already cancelled the booking from their end. It's a home stay with very few rooms. There were almost 20-23 people who had booked with them the owner not only denied the booking but also was very rude and actually being very irresponsible towards the whole issue. Not the best option until it's the only option. But , I did talk to the people with Goibibo and they took responsibility of the situation but they also did check on our patience.

The manager is a fraudster. I had opted for a Non AC room for which the rate quoted was 800/day (in front of my colleague, both of us are govt. employee). I had signed a form where the rows for filling room details was kept empty. The manager told me that he will fill it later. While checking out, I found that he had put 1000/ day in that row. I asked for the original bill while leaving which the manager denied and wanted to give me only the photocopy of the bill. I had warned him that I will get the original bill checked to see which ink usage was newer. He denied to give me the original bill because of that. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE !!

Omkar guest house is just behind KSRTC bus stand. Around 10 ac rooms but ac on request. Room is neat and clean. Daily room cleaning is not there. Bath room quite big with bathtub. Hot water available. Iron box facility is available for guest. Iron box is kept in first floor open hall. Kitchen staff are cooperative and good. When I asked to grind my desi medicine, kitchen staff willingly obliged. Autos are easily available for commuting.

Located besides new bus stand, is definitely very convenient guest house. The team prepares food on request. Rooms are modest but in need of maintenance and upkeep. Is guest house with common tv, iron, dining area. Suits overnight stay, long stays at 800 per day.

I had been here for two nights and had a great experience. The rooms were quite good and staff provided good room service. The breakfast ordered was Ok. There are also many good food options nearby. Overall Good Stay.

Sattur rooms, a basic guest house located near to SDM Medical College and hotel Kamat yatri nivas, situaated on the opposite side. It's not visible from the main road as its in a lane inside. Looking at the area it's a residential colony and an apartment converted to a guest house, relatively new construction. Please don't expect anything other than a bed and wash room. Seriously doubt the linen and towel were fresh and a routine cleaning is conducted. No food is also available. Consider only as a last option or for a tight budget.

Third class host, first asks us to visit and check rooms, during the visit doesn't even share the location and says the rooms are full and can't even share pics of the room
