Ananth The Grand

Our recent stay at Ananth The Grand was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and the elegant ambiance of the hotel. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff was incredibly courteous and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished with all the modern amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy Whether it was a short getaway or a business trip, Ananth The Grand exceeded all our expectations We left with fond memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, service, and elegance.

This is live review sitting in restaurant. I had an extremely disappointing and unsettling experience. While dining, I found a cockroach in my food. It was absolutely horrifying and completely unacceptable. When I informed the staff, the response was polite, but honestly, no apology could undo what happened. Cleanliness and hygiene are the basics any restaurant must meet, and finding a cockroach is a clear sign of major negligence. I would strongly advise others to reconsider eating here until they address their sanitation standards properly. This experience completely ruined my trust in this establishment.

We visited the restaurent as a family for a leisurely lunch and we found that the food quality was excellent especially the paneer dishes. The ambience is nice and the waiter and his team very cordial. The price is reasonable. Worth visiting once again to try new veg dishes.

As the name suggests, this place is Grand. Rooms are big, ample parking, great lobby area and good restaurant with awesome breakfast. Room had lot of working space and walking space but bathroom will be 4/5. Shower area is poorly designed and water stagnates while taking bath. Good quality amenities in room. This place was a pleasant surprise for our night halt from Goa. In fact this hotel was way better than our Goa hotel and cheaper.

A little over priced for the stay alone and for that place. But the amenities are good and make you feel that you are in a five star hotel. They don't have a no-breakfast plan and pricing. Hence they don't reduce the cost mentioned in the tariff. This is a disadvantage for sure especially for backpackers and overnight stayers who would like to take a night break during their travel.

Today is my 3rd day here . So far enjoying the comfort of this hotel. Wide variety of breakfast. People working here are very polite and humble. Housekeeping staff very accommodating and ready to help. So far enjoying my self with my family. Happy.

we stay twice in a year in suite rooms ( par day rent Rs. 7000 plus ) for approximately 4 to 5 days during my vacation. This time in December- The rooms are too good. Location is hopeless totally isolated away from main city ( 10 km in which 2 to 3 km is totally inhabited ) it is very tough to find taxi or auto to go anywhere and we will be at the mercy of hotel front desk. They try to help but there are limitations. The front desk is too good. The room service is pathetic, inspite of telling to clean the room, change linen, towels, provide top up for toiletries, tea, coffee , water etc they just don't care. Room service works like government office from 9 to 5 . Since it is too far you need to have complimentary breakfast ( it mandatorily charged) . The problem there is the top up for idli, vada, parotha, poorie, fruits, tea, coffee etc is so delayed that most of the inmates who stay for official work just have whatever available like cakes, bread butter jam etc. persons like us who have luxury of waiting are not given attention and neglected. If we order live preparation like Dosa or omelette we are made to wait for 30 -45 minutes so that either we conveniently forget or take alternative . The breakfast time is really full of tension as if we are appearing for exam. When we demanded , a person( mostly owner) told us that their service is up to that level and he cannot improve it better. He told us we need not stay here from next time. ( so courteous and humble) as he cannot improve the service. Earlier room service was excellent this time it was full of chaos like- serving egg pakoras without ketchup, then ketchup was served after one hour. Such silly things were done. Once they didn't bring serving plates , spoons etc. Inspite of strict instructions not to prepare food with green chillies or capsicum, they were added upsetting our stomach . The food is worst and pathetic. Later I came to know that there was a marriage taking place the next day the owner had come. Really very sad to see a great hotel going downhill in service and hospitality. Few people are very good whom I have to mention like Front Desk, Mr. Maruti, Manjunath, one service boy from Muddebhihal, Security Gaurd etc Since the owner has categorically accepted that the hotel management cannot provide expected service and hospitality, This may be because of cost cutting and downsizing, we have decided we will not stay in this hotel again. The so called owner who spoke with us is also least bothered to improve the service.
