Hotel Malligi Hampi

Located about a mile from Hosapete Railway station, this place gives the vibes of a brand, which is proud about its legacy in hospitality.| |The property is 30yrs+ old and the infrastructure is maintained with utmost care. The check-in was quick and all information was provided on spot. We got a free upgrade and the rooms were bigger than we imagined. The linen, the toilets, the furniture, the upholstery etc in the room were neatly designed & well managed too. We had some 30 odd switches to operate 30 different lights! Spent 15-20 mins to get the best fit lighting combination for us. The air-conditioning made some noise, which was attended quickly by their technician with a smile. ||The food was good and you can expect all your typical "metro city" junk cuisines - burger, pizza etc - well-prepared to be served here as the visitors flocking to this place are foreign citizens also. The waiters were too loud while talking to each other. During dinner time, the place was full of local town guests also. The waiters still continued to quarrel with each other in front of the guests in their local language. |Breakfast had limited options & delayed service. Not sure why waiters had to wear tie & bow, even in these summers? Is it the white-man-slavery mindset?||Ladies staff were deployed in plenty, which shows women empowerment. They all were very polite in communicating with us.||Will surely recommend this hotel for a family stay!||All types of payments accepted here - UPI, cash, debit cards, credit cards. I stayed at this hotel recently and had a really good experience. Right from booking to check-out, the staff made everything smooth and stress-free. What I really loved was how polite and kind everyone was--they always smiled, and there's this nice unspoken policy they seem to have of trusting their guests. That just makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The hotel itself is super clean and well cared for, though the rooms are definitely on the older side, with vintage furniture and a more classic vibe. But everything was neat and functional, so no complaints there. They have two restaurants inside the hotel, and wow--the food was so good! Every meal was packed with flavor. If you're heading to this area, I'd definitely recommend this place. The service, food, and cleanliness are worth it!

It's an awesome property, really 4 star and managed very well. Staff is polite and helpful. Very reasonably priced. Rooms are very well furnished. Central AC and room temperature control unit. Plenty of soaps , shampoo, shaving kit, towels provided without asking a single time. In-house restaurants are best in area. Overall a true 4 stars properly with great service.

I stayed at Hotel Malligi during month of April 2025 for three nights. April in most of India is very hot and Hospete is no exception. The premium room I stayed in was very comfortable with all amenities one can expect from a 5 star hotel. Just about everything was top-notch!! The restaurant "Temptations" at the hotel has an excellent menu with a variety of veg and non-veg options. I enjoyed lunch and dinner all three nights with excellent service from the staff. Vishwanath who waited on me each time spoke very good English, was courteous, suggesting dishes like the special boneless chicken biryani, etc. Overall experience at Hotel Malligi matched the amazing experience of a first time visit to Hampi. I strongly recommend staying here if you're visiting Hampi

Our stay was exceptional and memorable one. This hotel was referred by our colleague as we didn't have plan to visit Hampi - this was last minute plan to visit hampi while leaving Mantralayam. We stayed for day -- food was tasty - hygienic. Rooms were super clean - neatly maintained and service was awesome .. They gave us decent discount as well without being asked. I would strongly recommend this place when you are visiting Hampi and nearby places

It was by far the best experience that we had. Every staff member including front desk , Soumya from housekeeping, Shivshankar from room service make your stay a memorable one. Good pool, excellent rooms & a value for money travel desk. The property is right in the middle of city with everything available conveniently.

Literally 5 star feels in a 3 tier city! That's the perfect line for this cute hotel and restaurant. The rooms are neat and tidy, and the restaurant offers a variety of dishes plus, a good beer you just can't miss. A lovely place for a date or a weekend getaway.

Very good. Except for two instances. I had paid the bill before checking out. But when I went to have lunch at the multi cuisine restaurant, one of the waiters who hadn't seen me before told me he wanted to check my room no whole signing the bill. I had ordered a simple rice dal and aloo and it is not fair from the waiter to keep the guest held. It is embarassing. How could he thinks I was an outside guest who would walk away without paying. And he doubted me when I said I was staying in the hotel even though I had actually cleared 22k for staying even before the hotel asked me. The other instance is the breakfast cheese omlette which barely had cheese. When I went and asked to make one with more cheese, the cook was rude and told me can't u see iv put cheese. It has melt. I replied that there was no taste of cheese and if he could be more generous. Else their service and other food quality is good. Travel desk is very helpful. The driver Bakshi was very courteous. Room was cleaned very well. Restaurant ladies are very well behaved.
