Fraydel Homestay

I recently stayed at Fraydel Homestay for three days, and it was truly an amazing experience. We arrived super early at around 5 AM, and although there were no rooms available at that hour, the host went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and safe and let us use one of the rooms in their home until ours was ready. When we finally checked into our actual rooms, I was genuinely impressed. This was one of those rare times when expectations perfectly matched reality. The rooms were super clean, incredibly comfy, and most importantly, there was 24/7 water availability -- which is such a relief while travelling. The host was always just a call away, assisting us with auto rides, boating arrangements, and anything else we needed. He was genuinely helpful without ever being intrusive. Overall, I'd rate my stay a solid 4.8/5. I highly recommend Fraydel Homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly, and genuinely welcoming place to stay!

The location is very good, within 1 km of Eco Beach (on the other side of Highway). The rooms are basic but very clean. Limited parking is available at the premises. The property is well kept and lush green. There are a few eateries like 5 star chicken and Nagvekars which are very good and within walking distance of the property. However if you have aged people with you please note that you would have to climb 1 flight of fairly steep stairs to reach the 1st floor to access the rooms. I came during the off season in mid-march 2025 and I paid 2500/night for the queen bed room.

It is really a wonderful place to stay. Standard, very clean, tidy and with nice arrangement to stay -beds, bathrooms,toilet, AC, wardrobe, hot water. When you roam around garden which is well maintained with beautiful flowers. Overall experience was excellent. Restaurants are available for meal , lunch, dinner nearby. Owner is very cooperative and supportive. Recommended for stay.

Place was awesome with nature stay, rooms was neat and was spacious we all enjoyed staying there and we can't tell no to stay there it was that good thank you so much. Definitely we will refer you wonderful stay for others.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was extremely neat and well-maintained, and the garden added a beautiful touch to the overall experience. The hosts were very warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Plus, it's perfectly located with all the major attractions in Honnavar just a short distance away. Neat, hygienic, fresh rooms. I stayed with my family me my wife, daughter and 8 month young son. We wanted a homestay where we can use induction cooktop for my little kid's meal. I did not use any app for booking and luckily got this on calling owner directly. Whenever you are here and need homestay surely try this one

Newly opened homestay with very neat clean rooms and washrooms. Location is great, near to all prime tourist places. Also owners family is very helpful and co-operative with our needs. They provided us with complimentary tea and water bottles.
