Silver Palm Retreat

Recently stayed at Silver Palm Retreat Resort, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The rooms are decent, offering basic comfort and cleanliness, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always eager to assist, making the stay memorable. During my visit, a part of the resort was under construction. However, the progress looks promising, and once completed, I believe it will elevate the entire experience, making it an even more desirable destination for a relaxing getaway. One thing to note is that the resort does not currently provide a separate room for drivers, which can be a consideration for those traveling with chauffeurs. Despite this, I would recommend Silver Palm Retreat Resort for its warm hospitality and look forward to seeing the enhancements once the renovations are done.

The owner who shows the room is extremely rude. No sense to treat his customers well. Wrt rooms, it's decent.

One of the best hospitality I have ever received even though language is a small barrier. Sambhar and chutney were delicious and so was akki roti and kurma.

The rooms were clean and good. It's just like a outdoor lodge that's it no other extra activities here. Camp fire at night was good. Dog lovers will enjoy the stay here as there are two joyously friendly cultured pomerian dogs here. It's near to hirekolale lake where you can go for morning or evening walk

This Homestay was the best. The Ambiance was great. The hosts were very hospitable and communicated very well with us. The food was cooked by the homestay owners and it was very good. The warm welcome by Furry little guys was the highlight of the stay at this property. Rooms were very clean and neat. Even though this property was just 5km away from the City it seemed like I was very far from the hassle of the City life. Must Visit this place.

Firstly the resort and its ambience is so beautiful.the bed and toilet are as clean as in our own home and the owner is so kind and gentle.i will recommend everyone who wanna get ambience at regionable price

If there was any option in google to rate this place in negative, I would go with that too. Worst place to stay in Chikkamgalur. Unhygienic & small rooms. Seems like a cheap lodge. In addition to that, the owners are very rude. Our checkout was at 11:30 am but we had train at 5.30 pm, so we wanted to extend checkout time. She asked us extra money for the same, we provided her the same but still after that she kept knocking our door starting 2 pm and asked us to leave the property. We have travelled a lot of places and stayed in numerous homestays. But this place is the WORST till date!
