Treebo River View

I recently stayed at *Treebo River View*, booked via the Treebo app and paid 5,000 for a single room. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and not at all worth the price.||While the room size was decent and the view outside was nice, the overall maintenance and cleanliness were very poor. The room was not properly cleaned, and the window couldn't be closed fully, which affected both comfort and safety. The bathroom was extremely dirty and had a strong, unpleasant odor. Despite requesting a room freshener, the staff did not provide one, and I had to use my own perfume to mask the smell. The towels were smelling and had looks like not washed properly.||There is only BSNL network, the WIFI which hotel provided was also not working ||The outside area near the steps had open spaces that seemed dangerous, especially for children. Paint was peeling off in several places, giving the hotel a very neglected look. Additionally, there was no option for lunch or dinner at the hotel or nearby, which added to the inconvenience.||As someone who frequently chooses Treebo for reliable quality, this stay was far below expectations and not up to the Treebo standard. It has made me reconsider my preference for the brand in the future.

Worst experience ever. Beautiful property going to waste. Room was big with 2 queen size beds with big bathroom Room wall had lizards crawling, outside there were even more There were bugs all over the room. The response to complaint was all around are woods so they can't do anything. Did not even help to get the lizards out. The door had gaps so lizards kept entering even after driving them out. The TV did not work The water pressure in shower was a almost impossible to have bath with. Response to complaint was its like that only. There was almost nobody at the reception most of the time. The lizard droppings were never cleaned the 2 days we were there. The light outside the room was turned off at 10pm making everything dark outside. Served mesely breakfast after 9am till 10.15 am. Parking is only for4 cars, that's also on slope. Service is pathetic, no one responds to call from room phone ever. Please improve your service and train your staff in hospitality No cell service is there. Only wifi works. wifi speed is good.

Mismanagement at best! Its a great location. Very peaceful. Nothing but BSNL works. The rooms are clean and spacious. I went when it rained, and the whole restaurant was drenched with inches of water on the floor, water pouring in on furniture and everywhere. Same leakage in walkways outside the rooms as well. Roofing needs a major rehaul. Rooms were not replenished with even basic things. The restaurant for breakfast only opens at 9 am! In a tourist location, people want to leave early to travel far and see more places. The first time I saw breakfast being served at 9 am - I left and didn't bother to waste 1 hour waiting for it. Basic compliance to what Treebo might have set as requirements also not being followed. Internet speed is atrocious - but am guessing nothing much can be done there.

Stayed at Treebo River View via Treebo app for 5,000 -- not worth the price. Room was average in size but poorly maintained and unclean. Bathroom was dirty and stinking; no freshener provided despite request. Wi-Fi was provided but didn't work. The window curtain didn't close properly, and steps outside had dangerous openings. No lunch/dinner options nearby. Only the outside view was good. Not up to Treebo standards -- very disappointing. Never book via Treebo app, can't update reviews also there.

Worst Place to stay. 1) No Wifi/ No Cellular - Wifi never works 2) No Water, Always water tank is Empty. 3) No Geyser Works - No Hot Water. 4) Breakfast starts at 9:30 AM 5) No Cofee/Tea toll 9:30 AM 6) Too Far from Madi keri. 7) Not a cold place like Madi keri. 8) Ants and Lizards in Rooms. 9) power goes off for every 10 Mins. MMtT & Agoda is a Trap

The pictures of this hotel are highly deceptive and do not represent the actual condition of the property. The breakfast advertised is also not available; instead, guests are offered very limited options. It feels like they rely on good cinematography to attract guests but fail to deliver on basic expectations. This misleading advertising is disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel unless they address these issues and provide what they promise

I had a decent stay at this place, The room was good with a good view and a calm environment. Few issues need to be resolved 1. Hot water was not available in the shower, only on tap. 2. WiFi was not working at all. 3. Limited breakfast option

I think this property is a bang for the bucks provided you don't pay more than 2K a night. Few things about this place : Pros : 1. The pictures are not deceptive. It's as beautiful a property as it seems in the pictures. 2. Location is amazing. It's located mid-way from Kushalnagar & Madikeri which makes it a centre point in a way. 3. Rooms are top notch in quality, super clean & extremely well kept. 4. Arjun & Armaan who were taking care of the property during our stay have been extremely helpful. They would help you anytime of the day & have been extremely sweet & patient with our asks. 5. About 4 kms from Kote Abbey Waterfalls & about 12 kms from Mandalpatti View point. Cons: 1. No network/reception on Jio or Airtel. Only BSNL works here. However, WiFi calling works well. 2. Food is very average. No excuses here. I suggest you get your own food packed from wherever you're coming from or get it from Bro's Kitchen which is about 2.5 kms from the property. 3. Accessibility is pretty bad. Any decent shops etc. are atleast 8-9 kms away. Ultimately, this property is for you only if you have your own vehicle & you don't expect a 5 star service from a Treebo. All in all, this property sits at 4/5 in my expectations & I disagree with every other negative review.
