Hotel Sarayu

room not very clean specially the bathroom. food not very great. ordered aloo paratha the first day. I wish I had taken a photo of the paratha. never had such a kaccha paratha in my whole life. the location is good it's situated over big bazaar shop. the housekeeping could do a better job of keeping the rooms clean.

When we were looking for a decent stay with reasonable cost our final decision narrowed to Sarayu Hotel. |Manager is very friendly n helpful. Have got parking space in cellar. Food n Drinks room service is there and it was quick. But taste is not that great. |Happy with one night stay. No much issues

Above Big Baazaar , on Banaglore Mangalore highway says it all... This is on the fourth and fifth floor of the flat. ||||Rooms are spacious, Service is not bad. A good reception attracts you, may be the room I got reminded me of a cave - with no ventillation and not enough lighting. So always I was eager to come out and want to return only by night.||||Sleep quality was good. The bathrooms are not maintained properl. may be waiting for an overhaul||||I would rat a 5.4/10 for this hotel

Stayed at Hotel Sarayu for a night with family. Despite the front appearance(or lack of it), the rooms were decent. The hotel is situated on the fourth floor, the ground floor of which has a Big Bazaar. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant. But there is an independent restaurant situated on the 5th floor who deliver food to the rooms. The food bills need to be cleared separately. The rooms themselves were spacious and clean. This is a budget hotel, which is good if you are transiting at Hassan. Otherwise give it a skip.

Very good hotel with spacious rooms -- great value for money. My only gripe was the mattress that they have used in the rooms isn't very friendly for the back. The reception desk was also friendly enough to accommodate additional requests. Would definitely stay here, again.

It used to be one of the best in Hassan. But, over a period of time it has just lost its charm. My stay in Sarayu for 3 days was not more than an average experience. ||||To start with, the guests in this hotel have to share parking space with Big Bazaar customers. Parking space is not always guaranteed. ||||Next, the reception desk is quite dull. The rooms are nothing much to write about too. The room which I got (room no. 115) has absolutely no ventilation. It is quite weird to have such rooms on offer to guests. ||||Room service is a big zero. ||One can find many other good options in Hassan, and go for Sarayu if you really don't have any other option and if its a short stay.

I went for a value for money hotel as I was on transit. Least expected was clean linen and a clean bathroom.||Hotel is above the Big Bazar. Although this was not a hindrance, it was odd. I had asked the security to wash my car and had paid him in the night itself. He insisted that I pay him in the night! However, when I was ready to leave I saw my car unwashed! I had to personally get a bucket full of water from somewhere and wash it! Pathetic experience before you plan a long drive.

Stayed two nights at Hotel Sarayu, Hassan. Had done my booking through Makemytrip and checkin was hassle free. Hotel is located on BM road and 5 mins journey from Bus station and rail head. Room was clean and spacious enough with hot water throught.||There is a Restaurant cum bar above this hotel and food is delivered to rooms for lunch and dinner. Staff behaviour was decent and helpful enough. VFM hotel sans bells and whistles.||||Only flip side was room ventilation. I had opted for a non-AC room and it had just the AC unit removed to convert it into non AC and room by design had just a small air vent.
