We went in a large group of 15 with families to have a peaceful weekend but ended up having a bad experience. Everything is nice about this property - The location, The food, The booking process etc. but we felt it wasn't managed properly. Below are the things we didn't like.||||- A group of people were allowed to smoke and drink at every nook and corner of the resort. No restrictions. Even the gazebo where the food was served resembled a mini bar.||- As per the manager, people were not allowed to drink after 10 PM in the common area but we could see and here people drinking and shouting till 1 AM near the camp fire.||- The rooms are extremely basic and might not be suitable for families with small kids.

Ibbani is right in the lap of nature and offers a medium simple stay for travelers looking to get lost in the woods. Food was real tasty as they served local malnad food. Surroundings of the place gives a oxy bar feeling.||Cottages were simple but can be improved and worth the price we pay. Hospitality from the staff was good and were supportive.||Monsoon can be wet through out the day as it is in the valleys. View from the cottages is beautiful as the doors open up to a small valley with a pond refilled by a flowing stream(only in the monsoon). They offer rain dance which is not required if you goto this place in rainy season. They have few water activities in the pond which is good.

We were around 25 with couple of our team members accompanied by their families. |We started from Bangalore had breakfast at swati restaurant, kunigal. We reached Ibbani resort by 12. It was smooth journey. By the time food was ready and we enjoyed food , then we played mud volleyball, swim for sometime. We had a surprise rain and then the weather was bliss. |Resort has good accommodation facilities. Far from business world and no Mobil network is a plus.|We did a moderate trekking next morning. |It was a very memorable trip.

we had booked this place for weekend. |15 th - 16 th oct for one night. We had paid 15 percent of the room fee in advance. |Room fare was 2500 person. The luggage was taken by the staff. We just saw the room. It was badly maintained. It was like car shed. we didn't stay there. Despite that we had to pay 4000 . seeking for refund. |Ibbani group.

Stayed here for a day ( 8th Nov Morning to 9th Morning ). Other than just eating and staying to your self, there is nothing you can do and is a very badly managed Property. Other than Playing on the Old Carrom board, there is nothing much you can do. The so Called Water pool is a mess of fallen leaves rotting inside the pond and you don't feel like stepping in. The rooms are very basic and avoid if you are planning to be with kids...stinky rooms. Food is average...not worth the buck. Local guides Recommendation is to go with Stone Hill resort...even if its tariff is a bit higher compared to Ibbani. Not a place for family vacation.

Three of us stayed here for a couple of days (Day 1 in cottage and Day 2 in tent) during Christmas weekend, location is easy to find as it is right opposite Rotti Kallu homestay.||Homestay location is very good and wont spend more time on it since its already well described on their website.||||Apart from location, all the other experiences were a letdown.||||Food: Very limited variety. In our 2 day stay which included 6 meals, same curry was repeated 4 times and taste wasnt great either.||Food timings (Subjective): Delayed. Morning Coffee/Tea is served/prepared after 8:30 AM, breakfast starts at 9:30 AM, Lunch is more or less on time and dinner starts at 9:30 PM which is quite late. ||Staff: Unprofessional and take their own time to service any request, this inspite of having 5-6 staff in the kitchen. ||||Accomodation:||||Cottage (Day 1): Average - 3/5||||Tent (Day 2) - There is a construction happening within the homestay premises near car park and tents are pitched right next to it which is not we were expecting, ||also tents are exposed to direct sunilght which makes them practically impossible to use during daytime. When asked whether tents could be relocated under nearby trees, Manjunath said it takes a lot of time. ||||However, the irony is when we asked whether an additional tent can be provided to keep our luggage, he agreed for the same and set it up in 10 minutes which is contradicting to what he said when we requested for ||tent relocation.

It was fun with friends. Nice place to hang around. Quite and in nature's lap. Food was good and friendly staff. Trekking was was also good. Only the pond was not that clean. Mud volleyball was the only outdoor activity along with a swing attached to a tree.

I hope the owner is not just a sitting duck and is aware of how this place is managed. Locals manage this place and you're at their mercy with the minimum supplies that they think they could run the show with. I hope the owner owns up to the place and does something, very quick .. very soon!!! Very badly managed :(||1. Firstly, this place is just about okay for corporates, hikers, bachelors and people looking for a stay at the last min. Corporates, only if the staff can sustain catering to those many people, which I seriously doubt!||2. This place is definitely NOT for family, that too with infants or kids below 10 years.||3. The place is badly in need of renovation, even the rooms that they claim as single/double are nothing but dormitories laid out with 4 badly managed beds, bedsheets in a row with minimal walking space. The windows do not close and as it is a highly vegetative area, expect sleeping next to garden lizards or any creepy crawlies, that might seek company .. SCARY!!! The rooms have no views to look for. The bathroom is just a wall separation and if someone is using the toilet, then the rest of the folks have to just walk out due to obvious reasons. ||4. There are some basic watersports activities that you see on the website, but you can only dare to attempt those if you're not scared of any allergies or for fear of getting one. The water tank that they have is a mosquito breeding hole, and in such bad maintenance, you just want to run as far as you can!||5. Approach road is horrible, and the last bit is a 2KM stretch, which is quite challenging. I DO NOT recommend this place at all .. there are much better places.||6. Last ,but not the least, if there's an emergency and you need to use your mobile, you need to climb a hillock. So, be prepared with your batteries if you have to trek the hillock past twilight!
