RKS INTERNATIONAL HAMPI

I'll start with the positive things: Organising a driver or guide through the reception works smoothly. The hotel managers are friendly and their knowledge of English is sufficient for communication. The bathtub in the room actually has a whirlpool function. That works fine. Perhaps my expectations are too European, but the priorities seem a little strange. The small hotel is newly furnished but surrounded by rubbish. There is a TV in the room (still with protective film), but no table. The bathroom is very spacious but dirty. The toilet is a light brown colour, which helps to disguise the traces of faeces stuck to the toilet seat (several cleaning passes were necessary). The water is heated by a gas boiler. Every time it ignites, the bathroom smells of gas. However, this should not be too dangerous as the bathroom is somewhat well ventilated. You can only turn on the hot or cold water in the shower and bath. There is no mixer tap. So you shower with cold or 55degC hot water. You can only have warm water in the bath by mixing it yourself or waiting until the hot water cools down. You shouldn't be in a hurry either, as it takes over half an hour for the bath to be filled with hot water to the point where you can lie down in it. Not necessarily bad, but it is a bit strange that all the items delivered with protective film were still covered with it (TV, bathtub, window frames...). Some of the furniture still has price tags on it. In other reviews, the price-performance ratio was praised. I cannot agree with this. If I can't even take a hot shower in a hotel that costs 7000 INR (about 78EU) per night and I first have to clean parts of the bathroom to stop feeling disgusted, then that's a disgrace.

We stayed here recently on our family trip to Hampi. Our stay here was comfortable and taken care of by Vani Mam. She also helped us in suggestions of places to visit as well as restaurants. All our needs that usually arise when staying in Homestay was taken care of within time and excellently. What more could one ask for. I had my elderly parents with me and Vani Mam made sure they are comfortable. We express our sincere gratitude for such excellent hospitality. Rooms were clean and parking was available.

Excellent rooms and good service. The owner vani was really helpful and very polite and supportive. She made us felt like an unknown place our own home. Really recommend place for anyone who visits hampi. Thanks Vani for all the help u provided.

The rooms were spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The home stay is nestled in a serene environment, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The Owner (Vani Maam ) were extremely welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The home stay is thoughtfully designed, with all amenities and facilities readily available. Overall, I highly recommend this home stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. It's a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and hospitality. I'll definitely be back!

On Our 4-day trip to Hampi we stayed at RKS International. The guest house's location, about 3 kilometers from the main site, offered a peaceful retreat away from the bustling market area. We appreciated the opportunity to unwind in the serene surroundings and take leisurely walks amidst the lush green fields. The rooms at RKS International were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with clean bathrooms. Hot water was available throughout the day, and the owner, Vani, was incredibly helpful in ensuring our comfort, even during power outages. Vani's thoughtful hospitality made a significant difference. She reached out to us two days before our arrival to inquire about our preferences. Vani arranged transportation for our sightseeing tours, suggested a detailed itinerary, and recommended excellent local restaurants,in case we wanted to eat outside. Overall, our stay at RKS International was comfortable, memorable, and a perfect complement to our Hampi adventure.

Service was excellent. Rooms were spacious & clean. Bathtub was excellent & super value for money.
