GRAND JP INN (Near 2 km from Gundlupet bus stand)

Don't book GRAND JP INN (Near 2 km from Gundlupet bus stand). I booked this property for one while I was traveling to ooty on 02 May 2025. In bathroom the tap was broken and the shower also was not working properly. The bathroom is not cleaned and water exit pipe is also broken. As complimentary there is NOTHING, NO water(half liter only), NO toilet paper, NO toothpaste, NO shampoo. When I asked them to give me any other room. They said that there is no room. Once you pay them, they won't care about you. The landline phone is also not working so you have to go to reception if you need anything and at reception you will find no one.

They will charge for AC room extra, and the room and bathroom as well as blankets are not clean. They gave water bottle after asking them, and soap and towel after asking for it.

Worst service and maintenance.i do not recommend this property as not at all worth . waste of money.extra bed is very worst and rooms also not maintained properly.

Located on the main road, We had a great time. For 3k, we had a comfortable stay - the rooms were big and spacious , the people were nice to us. Will recommend to anyone who is looking for affordable accomodation

Located on the highway is quite easily accessible. The hotel staff and the manager are really courteous and very well behaved. Has ample parking space for cars. Though the property is located on the highway, the rooms are not noisy. Undoubtedly, it's' "value for money" option. Somethings to improve ............ Lift not working and nobody seems to be bothered about it ...... Locking / unlocking the room door is quite a challenge. Though Treebo mentions many amenities, hardly anything is available in reality. The complimentary breakfast is definitely not of the standard expected from Treebo. Also, one has to walk a good distance to access the restaurant. Last but not the least, an extra half meter length of health faucet connecting pipe wouldn't cost much but would mean a lot to the users.

This property is located just before you reach the town. The property is definitely a good one for the price, but it lacks maintenance. The lift wasn't working, we had to use the stairs. The towels given were not washed, it had dirt marks and stains, there were no toiletries available. It was mentioned complimentary breakfast, but we were given a slip for 1 dosa each in the restaurant next to the property. Taking care of these things will make the property better, and worth the money they charge. At least the towels needs to be washed. That part was just disgusting. If you're looking for a quick place to crash in on the way within the budget with no great expectations, then this place can be considered.
