Akichimo Home stay

Loved this place! Way more affordable than other typical overpriced stay's in that region. The place is in the midst of a coffee and arecanut plantation, but not very far from the town as well. The place has a very peaceful vibe and a very friendly host. Rooms are very well maintained and spacious, hot water is available 24*7. All the small things like towels, toothpaste, drinking water are all arranged well. The dining area is also good. The place has a dedicated bonfire area again in the midst of the plantation. The food quantity served can be a little better. Otherwise overall a great stay.

The owners are very humble and brings in lot of hospitality. Place is very calm and a must visit. A very fair charges too. I just love the place. Owner is too good to talk to. He is very helpful. I am very happy that I had chosen this place for a stay

Best stay ever ! Amidst the coffee estates, pepper farma, paddy fields, pond and a place for bonfire in the middle of all this just felt like heaven. The owners are so humble and the dogs at this homestay are just so adorable and friendly. Enjoy the beautiful home cooked food(remember to order them in advance). Stay is clean and neat. Gives a little rustic feel and what best could be when you are connected to nature near and dear. Walk amidst the coffee estates to rejuvenate your soul. Went there for a race, considering this, they were kind enough to provide hs with coffee at 4.45am !

beautiful calm resort, a good place if you plan to stay there and not go for an outing in the day. the only disadvantage is the approach is a little narrow, friendly family. food is very good, very homely, stayed twice, loved the food. if planning to go as a tourist then prefer a hotel

Had a wonderful stay. The host and the place is wonderful. Home cooked delicious food, clean beds and secluded estate. Home stay is few km away from busy town, surrounded by coffee plants, paddy & banana fields, a small stream and pond. Best for family or group of friends. Would recommend tourists to stay and experience this wonderful hospitality.

Located away from the main road inside the Coffee estates of their own. Mr Kishan and his wife were a great host. They helped us in planning our trip around provided us with amazing home made food and filter coffee. They have 3 pet dogs in the premises and they are very friendly. My wife loves dogs and she had great time with playing with them. We extended our stay with them for a day because of the tasty food and peace inside the estate. Recommend for couples and family.

Fantastic place in a remote location Surrounded by coffee plants, Trees a small river and a nice off beat place to relax. Rooms were very neat and clean and cozy enough to accommodate 2 adult and 1 kid. I had booked 3 rooms in which a rooms were with an extra room and 1 room had a kitchen as well. Fantastic host Kishan Sir and his family offered good local home food for Break fast and Dinner. Evening spent time near Campfire enjoying the mist around the resort. Over all it was a very nice stay and highly recommend for a budget options stay in Coorg
