Vibes and Tides Beach Resort By Enlightened vagabonds

I had a Wonderful Stay at Vibes and Tides Beach Resort. The location, food and ambience was great but more than that our resort manager Mudra was the best. We were group of three and we booked the resort only for 2 nights but we were not ready to move out so soon so we extended for 2 more nights. The staff was very good and welcoming. The sunset from the beach was amazing. Definitely a must visit place.

While the location is good, it's worth noting that parts of the resort are still under construction. Staff is good and helpful. Sometimes they are not available . There was no water available when we needed it the most. After returning from the beach, we wanted to take a shower, but there was no water. Sometimes the water supply was there but sometimes not . Even using the toilet became an issue. This is something that should be addressed promptly. Additionally, the rooms could have been cleaner, and the flush in the toilet was not working. Beach side is very clean .

Had a fantastic time at vibes and tides. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the ambiance was perfect. The food was delicious, and the amenities were top-notch. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! Will definitely visit again.

Rooms: have not been cleaned for months, with dust collecting over the bed and cot, and spider webs forming. The dust has been accumulating for months. The toilets have not been cleaned since the last usage, the sink is blocked, and the entire bathroom is infested with insects. Please refer to the attached photos. The service is the worst. When I informed them about the issue, they didn't seem bothered. They only sent someone to replace the bed sheets, but not the towels or toiletry items. The worst part is that I paid 9,000 rupees for a two-day stay, which isn't even worth 500 rupees. The only positive aspect is the location, which provides easy access to the beach. I highly recommend NOT choosing this terrible resort. There are plenty of other options available, so don't make the same mistake I did."

The only good thing about this place is the beach access hence I have given 4 stars or else this place only deserves 1 star. The rooms are in very bad shape lacking even the basic amenities such as toiletries, towels etc. There is no cupboard or shelf in the room, only the bed is in the good condition that's it. There were way too many mosquitoes in the room as well as other small insects. The service was good and the staff was cooperative. They also have an inhouse restaurant and the food served there was good. You can visit only for the beach view or else there is nothing good here. Also there is no proper approach road, so it is difficult to walk with luggage. The staff does not help to pick your luggage as it is usually done at other places.

it's a good property. loved the stay. the road to this place needs a little maintenance maybe. I had difficulty riding my scooty here. Overall i feel it's a great property to stay at.

Avoid this place at all costs! It's filthy, poorly managed, and an absolute nightmare. The manager is not only incompetent but also arrogant. We booked a room through Booking.com, only to face chaos upon arrival. As soon as we parked, roadwork started, completely blocking our car. When we asked for help, the manager refused to assist in any way. What's worse--every shop and cafe in the area knew about the scheduled roadwork, yet this property remained oblivious. To make matters worse, even after our terrible experience and having to cancel the booking, they still attempted to charge my credit card. Thankfully, I had locked it, but they haven't waived the charges. This place is a scam--stay far away!

A very beautiful property, located next to the beach. If we are coming by road, to get to the location from Gokarna Bus stand, we will have to take an auto. As any beach tourist place, auto over charges you. Due to some road work we had to walk for 200 meters to get to the property. On the way, there was a water channel which I observed , all the nearby properties' Grey water empties into it. Water from the canal is emptied into the sea. So, when you go to the beach , if you get into water near it, you definitely will be bathing in some of this water. A stench lingers around the place. Ah, coming back to the property. First thing you will notice is the beach, & their beautiful and well decorated restaurant facing the beach. Perfect spot for Workaction. The rooms are located around the restaurant. Rooms don't have AC, hence day time you will be sweaty. Bathrooms were built in a hurry, no finishing. Atleast a neat finish would have been nice. No toiletries provided, No complementary breakfast provided along with the room. The room was a bit Overpriced, maybe because we booked through AGODA. Payment mode - Cash and Card. Credit cards are accepted. Food was overpriced and not that great. No liquor in the restaurant. But you can get homely food at walking distance to the main road. Service and hospitality could have been better. Staff could at least have smiled or shown more warmth. You will definitely enjoy the beach view, and you are least concerned about rest of the things, you will definitely enjoy the place.
