Om Beach Resort-Jungle Lodges

Very neat and decent place for Family! Lots of tress & greenery in the property making it an energetic and peaceful stay environment. Courteous staff. Tasty and safe on tummy food. Suggestions: Greenery in front of rooms like the lawns and border plants could be taken care, understand the sun effect, still some effort would help preserve the greenery well. Bath towels needs replacement to maintain the softness. Thanks.

This property location is good and room is spacious but all good things end there. DO not expect basic courtesy and hospitality is out of question. I have been a regular to JLR out of all this seems to be odd one or usually basics are right. There are many good properties available more near to beach go for them.

We have stayed in jungle lodges before at different places but never been treated so badly. One of the worst managers I have ever met in a service industry. He lacks basic decency and keeps chewing gutka all the time even while speaking to customers. Acts as if owns the whole city. Better to stay in a different lodge/hotel rather being treated badly over here. Giving 1 star for the staff who were nice to us.

"Comfortable Stay with Great Amenities" The stay was very good! The rooms are spacious, and the package includes 3 meals a day. The food was excellent, as expected from JLR. The Gokarna main beach is just 1 km away, making it very convenient. We opted for the full package, which included jeep service in the morning and evening. Overall, it was a great experience and a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing stay at Om beach resort, of the best resorts in Gokarna. The manager and staff were incredibly cooperative, and the food was fantastic. The overall atmosphere was excellent. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the main Gokarna beach.

This was our 3rd visit to this particular Jungle Lodges, and the Nth visit to Jungle Lodges properties across Karnataka, but this was the first time we had a bad experience. The manager of this property - Somanna, is very rude, arrogant, and gives you a devil may care attitude which doesn't bode well with the service industry. We were treated badly from Day 1 since we decided to opt for a 'Stay' only package during the Christmas Week. We had a lot of activities booked in our 2 days there including Sunset Cruise, Bioluminescence Viewing, Dolphin Watching, Water Activities, Temple Visit, and so on, due to which we knew we wouldn't be able to have food in the property. However, this was seen as the worst thing we could have ever done, because the manager decided to treat us badly throughout our stay there. From not arranging extra beds during check-in (it was already booked), to outright questioning our family where we were going, what activities we were doing, with whom, and why? - all questions which he had no right to ask, and then to refusing to provide us breakfast for the next day, even though we requested for it by 6pm the previous day (we were told to inform them before 8pm). He made our stay a complete horrible experience. These kind of managers bring the name of Jungle Lodges down! I hope some kind of action is taken against such people. The only reason I'm still giving this a 2-star is for the property and all the other staff there who were not only courteous but friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at several Jungle Lodges properties like Bannerghatta, Devbagh, Galibore, Dandeli, and Bheemeshwari, but Om Beach Resort in Gokarna feels very different and falls short of expectations. Unlike other Jungle Lodges, this resort is not situated in a jungle, lacks facilities for kids, and is located nearly 5 km away from Om Beach. The name is misleading, as we assumed it would be close to Om Beach when booking, which led to disappointment. The location is not ideal, and there isn't even a proper space for a walk. Additionally, the swimming pool was poorly maintained. While the staff was kind and supportive, the overall experience was not worth the money. The resort has significant room for improvement.
