Ocean Breeze Cottage and Cafe

It is new one. room is clean but no hangers in room. Location is very inside. Literally u have to walk to the property almost 10 to 15 mins. But good thing is the boys will carry your luggage and guide. But if you want to go somewhere in between check-in and check-out you have to take care. Safety is concern after 6PM and before 7AM on the way to hotel.

The hotel's biggest advantage is its beachfront location, offering easy access to the sea. However, that's where the positives end. The rooms are damp, with stained walls, bedsheets, and mattresses that clearly need better upkeep. Frequent power fluctuations made the AC unreliable, adding to the discomfort. The food was just okay, and while the staff was polite, it couldn't make up for the poor room conditions. Overall, the place has potential but desperately needs improvements in cleanliness and maintenance.

We visited 2nd weekend of April. Rooms were not beach view. Rooms were very basic without wardrobe. Water was very worst which seems to be directly from the sea. But 24hrs water and hot water available. Cottage main entrance is beach front and the location is too good. No proper service available. No tv available.Drinking water has to paid every time. No complementary water bottles available. Their attitude was not pleasing. Food was decent can give a try.

The only positive is the newly built AC rooms, which were clean and well maintained. However, the stay has major drawbacks. It's about 100 meters from the road with no proper access or parking, making it extremely inconvenient, forcing you to carry your luggage through sand in the scorching heat. Also, the location is far from the main beaches and temple, adding to the hassle. Consider these factors before booking.

The road reaching is very narrow.Parking is a big concern as it is around 200 m away.Also we have to walk with luggages to hotel and the place around is filthy and not pleasing. Good for friends, with family it is little unwelcoming.The cottage rooms are ok.Cuisine specially is with local flavour so people from maharashtra will not enjoy sea food flavour. pros: Hotel is on beach and the beach here is calm,clean with clear waters. Cafe is also good .Staff is good and attentive.Budget friendly hotel.You can relax in the cafe with excellent view of sun sand and sea

I had an incredible experience at Ocean Breeze in Gokarna! The food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt like it was made with great care and attention to detail. The hospitality was just as impressive. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always attentive, making sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The serene beachside atmosphere added to the charm, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Stayed for two nights in well-maintained, hut-style rooms located right by the beach. The service was excellent, with an in-house restaurant and kind staff who went above and beyond to help me recover a bag I had lost in an auto on my way here. The proximity to the beach is amazing--you can hear the soothing sound of the waves day and night.

*** Decent Stay Near the Beach but Parking Woes *** If you're looking for a place close to the beach, this property offers a convenient location that makes it easy to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It's a great spot for those who want quick access to the beach. However, the parking situation leaves a lot to be desired. The facilities are limited, poorly managed, and felt like an afterthought. We struggled to find a spot and had to park further away, which was inconvenient. If you're traveling with a car, be prepared for some hassle. Overall, it's a good choice for a short stay if parking isn't a priority. Otherwise, you might want to explore other options.
