Deva Samudra Beach Stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at samudra beach stay, and while there were some standout features, there were also a few areas that left me underwhelmed. The location of the hotel is undoubtedly its strongest selling point. Situated right next to the beach, the views and accessibility to the shoreline were absolutely stunning. The hotel's infrastructure was also impressive. The cottages were well-designed, and I appreciated being able to park my car right outside my accommodation. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its connection to nature. The property is surrounded by lush trees, and the sounds of birds chirping created a peaceful ambiance that was nothing short of enchanting. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the behavior of the hotel staff. I found them to be somewhat unfriendly. On a more positive note, the food at the hotel was delicious.

The resort is big by space. The rooms are cozy. However the place(area) itself is very warm and due to this, the room AC is of no use. The price is very high - 3500 for not sea facing & 5500 for sea facing. This does not include room service for food. The restaurant is not owned by the resort as well. Also the road to the resort is so narrow, 2 cars together cannot pass through. Be aware of it.

We stayed in s4 which is sea facing and room is quite good. This has a big balcony facing towards sea. Beach just accessible from the room. Restaurant is just facing beach. Food is mostly north indian. Good parking space. Road leading to this place is very narrow. Really great stay and enjoyed.

I had a pleasant stay at Devasamudra Beach Stay. The property is well-maintained with spacious, clean cottages that offer a comfortable experience. The staff were polite, helpful, and ensured we felt welcomed throughout our stay. However, the major drawback is the lack of an in-house restaurant or room service. While there is a restaurant adjacent to the premises, it is managed separately. Unfortunately, it lacks proper hygiene, and the staff there are quite slow, often taking a long time to serve food. Overall, the stay itself was great, but the dining experience could be significantly improved.

I visited this resort with my family. It was two days stay , I had two kids with me one 7 years and another 1 year. They have decent rooms and the resort is just in front of beach that is the best part of this resort. The resort doesn't have proper restaurant and room service , they don't entertain order from room and rudely say that we don't deliver to the room, even my son was not feeling well, I requested them to deliver to room but they didn't deliver. The resort staffs are quite rude. If you are expecting good holiday experience then don't go to this resort, they will ruin your whole holiday experience. The prices are also quite high then other places across Gokarna.

This is a beach front hotel with spacious and clean rooms. The hotel is accessible by road and has its own parking space. So you dont need to carry your luggage and walk in the beach to reach the hotel. The atmosphere is also peaceful and relaxing. I had booked a non ac room. But they gave me a ac room where ac was not working. The rooms were not ventilated for a non ac environment. Though there were two fans it felt quite hot during the day time and till late midnight. That was one thing i dint like about the stay. I am not sure whats the case with other non ac rooms if they are ventilated properly or not. So to be on safer side i would recommend to book a ac room always..

good for staying, rooms were clean and reasonable price, if u call them directly from website. the restaurant service is very very very slow. , some dishes were good some were very average. scoty on rent is also available here if you need a cab for a day you can ask at reception they will give the contact details the good part is you can access other beach side cafes from the beach .

Comfortable stay and location was too good to explore beaches and easy to reach. Clean and good service provided. Bit over priced due to the season than the facilities provided. Instead of limiting 2 water bottles per day they can install an RO machine for drinking water. Since water is a basic one, it is expected from the place we stay. Very close to the beach and very good ambience. Recommended for sure
