We had an amazing time at Coconut Resorts. The resort is nestled in a beautiful coastal setting, with easy access to the beach and stunning sunset views. The food was delicious, especially the fresh seafood and tropical fruit juices. The pool was clean and inviting, and the ambiance was simply perfect for unwinding. Will definitely be returning for another break soon!

We stayed at Coconut Tree Resort for 2 nights (from 4th April to 6th April 2025) in their Super Deluxe AC rooms, and it truly felt like home. Location: The resort is located just 500 meters from Mahabaleshwar Temple and Gokarna town. It's easily accessible by walking, auto rickshaw, or by renting a scooter or bike. If you're coming by car or renting one, the resort is around 6-7 km due to a bypass route (narrow roads in town). The location is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing, and it's also great for sightseeing. There's even a nearby hill viewpoint to enjoy beautiful sunset views over the Arabian Sea. Service: The highlight of our stay was the warm hospitality. Badru, the owner, goes above and beyond for his guests. He treats everyone like family and ensures complete comfort throughout the stay. His local knowledge is impressive, and he's always happy to share travel tips and itineraries. At check-out, he even gave us two chilled water bottles--a small gesture that meant a lot. For Badru, guest satisfaction clearly comes before profits. His team--Maruti and Ganesh--were also fantastic. Anything we needed, they got it done with a smile. Food: Without a doubt, the best food we had during our entire trip to Gokarna was at Coconut Tree Resort. If you're a chicken lover, don't miss the 'Garlic Chicken' starter--it's a must-try! Vegetarians will also be happy with plenty of options; we recommend the 'Veg Manchurian'. On our last day, we ordered fish, and Birju surprised us with 'Prawns Chilli'--something we had never tried before. It was juicy, crispy, and absolutely delicious. Also, don't miss the tea here--it's a simple delight that stands out! Rooms: The rooms are basic but clean and well-maintained. The resort is spacious, with around 10 rooms and 2 dormitories. Both AC and non-AC options are available, depending on your preference. Overall: Coconut Tree Resort should definitely be on your bucket list if you're planning a trip to Gokarna. Even if you're staying somewhere else, don't miss dining at their restaurant. The ambiance is amazing, with indoor, outdoor, and rooftop seating available (depending on the season and weather). A truly memorable stay--highly recommended!
Terrible experience. We had booked two cottages, but due to shoddy construction, rainwater came pouring in through the fan vent -- right onto our beds. When we contacted the owner, he didn't bother showing up, claiming it was because of the rain. Instead, his staff arrived over an hour later while we were left stranded outside at 7 AM, drenched, with wet luggage and soaked electronics. Out of basic decency, we offered to pay for one cottage despite the mess and lack of support. That's when the owner suddenly showed up -- not to assist, but to hurl insults, call us beggars, and even threaten that he wouldn't let us leave Golarna unless we paid in full. He even had the audacity to say we shouldn't travel if we can't afford it. Absolutely unprofessional and completely lacking in accountability. For a place that claims to be a '3-star property' on Google, this was nothing short of a scam. Whether it was the flooded room, the rude and aggressive owner, or the terrible approach road -- everything was a disaster. Stay away.
Not at all value for money. Care taker and owner are good, help a lot. But rooms are so bad, for the price being charged its a loot. Should have stayed in zostel. Even their voltage fluctuations were another headache, ac was not on for long duration in this hor weather, i got sick in 2 days.
It was our second time there. We chose the coconut tree resort again. And we will do the same in the coming future whenever we visit gokarna. The ambience and staff are so fun and super helpful.
We stayed here for 2 nights and the stay was pleasant, the staff are very helpful and promptly provide the service. The location is very beneficial that in a few minutes you will be near the main streets of the town yet you are away from the place in a peaceful place. There is a small hill behind the property if we trek up that, we can witness a beautiful aerial view of the main beach.
We had an amazing stay at Coconut Tree Resort, Gokarna for 2 days with a group of 35 students from Baramati. The experience was truly exceptional! The rooms were incredibly neat and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The dinner and breakfast served were of excellent quality, satisfying everyone in our group. A special mention to the manager of the resort, who made our trip even more memorable. He was extremely supportive and helpful, guiding us at every step. Being new to Gokarna, his valuable suggestions on nearby attractions ensured we had an unforgettable experience. If you're planning a trip to Gokarna and looking for a place with excellent hospitality, Coconut Tree Resort is definitely a top choice. Highly recommend it!
