Gokarna beach homestay stay

We booked an AC room 3 Months in advance. They shared all details, took 1000 advance. I kept in touch constantly via watsapp. On reaching they claimed no room was available. Maybe a non AC room might be available. Refunded 1k, left us high and dry without a place to stay.

Its a decent homestay in budget. Room was good yet lacked a few basic amenities like a door mat and the wifi wasn't working at all. There was a cooler in the room, which worked fine. Food was good and reasonable.

I had the worst experience at this place. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that basic services were lacking. There was no room service at all, which is unacceptable for the price they charge. The food was absolutely disgusting and a complete waste of money. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, expecting it to be cooked in a tandoor as it should be, but instead, they fried it in oil, and the chicken was stale. The condition of the room was terrible. There was leakage all over, making the floor sticky because of the water leakage. The chairs were all wet due to the rain, and there was no proper seating arrangement. It was impossible to sit anywhere comfortably. For the price of 1200, there are far better options available. I strongly advise against visiting this place. The overall experience was extremely disappointing and not worth the money.

You can stay here with family. Gokarn temple is hardly 2 km from home stay.

Location is good! But not well maintained. Toilet taps not working. Water issue. Had to raise the issue several times. Still they were unable to fix it. Not recommend for family!

Best homestay in budget with 2 king size beds just 30m to beach not much crowded just 4km from gokarana main beach must visit, food too good

We stayed in another hotel but visited the cafe daily and found the food and the guys working there absolutely amazing!
