OmBodhi Retreat

I recently stayed at Ombodhi Retreat and had a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so peaceful and welcoming. The property is surrounded by nature, offering a serene environment that's perfect for anyone looking to take a real break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The rooms were clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, blending modern comforts with a rustic, natural charm. The staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and made sure that every need was taken care of with a smile. The food deserves a special mention -- it was fresh, flavorful, and offered a good variety catering to different tastes. The activities and spaces around the retreat were also well-planned, providing opportunities for relaxation, yoga, and connecting with nature. Every corner of the property invites you to slow down and soak in the tranquility. The only thing I felt was missing was a swimming pool. Having a pool would have added that extra touch of leisure, especially on warmer days when a refreshing dip would have been perfect. That being said, Ombodhi Retreat still offers a fantastic experience overall, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. I look forward to visiting again!

I recently stayed at this place and had the most amazing experience.i stayed with my daughter for 4 days and never felt more safe in a resort. The staff is very polite and well trained .the rooms are comfortable clean and complete value for money. The resort is located on the beach and convenient .food is good .I had seen the reviews and done my research before going the reason why I chose this resort was for the way the owner addressed negative reviews in a smart diplomatic way .kudos to that .

All aspects are 5 star in this resort. Rooms were super clean and well maintained. Service was beyond my expectations and one of the best in Karnataka. Best part, location. You cant get enough of the sunset views from the outside seating of restaurant. Perfect place to relax and have a great vacation, away from Gokarna's tourist crowd. The staff was super helpful and courteous. Feedback: The photos in Google/Agoda are outdated and do not justify the actual look and feel of the resort. The gardens are much more beautiful. Please update the photos.

Excellent beach resort, very kind and supportive staff. Best beach views guaranteed. With kid friendly activities. Neat and tidy room. Amazing and tasty food. Gets 5 star because of all the experience we had. Definitely will visit again.

Fantastic place to stay. Right on Kumta beach. We stayed here for 2 nights from 28/11/24 to 30/11/24. Everything about this property is nice. The room we stayed in was the best available type, seaview cottage. However, view from the room balcony was obstructed due to trees on front. As a room it was very nice, large, decent toilet, very good shower, linens towels spotless. No complaints at all. Expect other rooms will be equally good. In case your budget is a bit tight, I would recommend other rooms in this property which are much cheaper than the one we stayed in. |Breakfast is not included in room rent and is available in the beachside restaurant. The beachside restaurant is good, food quality is also good. All the staff are very hospitable and decent. |The property is right on the beach,and the restaurant is on beach itself. Kumta beach is secluded, clean and still virgin in nature. Sunset views are awesome.|Loved staying and dining here. Very much recommended for staying and relaxing. Good weekend retreat for those staying in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune area.

Biggest plus is the location. It's calm serene & almost untouched. Staff are polite & try their best to make your comfortable.. Rooms are very small & basic. There are no other typical resort type amenities or a pool. Food was average. Overall a good place for a peaceful stay. Just keep your expectations realistic.

Beautiful property with all the amenities and top of it direct beach access... We stayed for only one night but i think not sufficient... Weldecor room great food... No room service but who need it... Just seat outside and enjoy sea and weather.. Thanks to team OMBODHI... Love to come again and again..

Excellent stay, excellent service, only one thing I would suggest is add italian cuisine, its okay not to keep Pizza as it requires a different setup but Pasta can be added in the food menu. Overall a great place to stay with good proximity to clean beach.
