Hotel Ashoka

1st thing I learned after staying there is that, if majority of people saying a hotel is bad then the hotel must be bad. I shouldn't have trusted my gut and taken the risk of staying there. Dirty rooms. Terrible smell throughout the floor. Washrooms are like public toilets. Only good for students on budget. For families or businesses travel, it's an absolute NO. They couldn't even provide towels till late night. Restaurant was closed in the evening, only bar was open. Hard to find decent food nearby. One should avoid this hotel at any cost. If you go little further in the Raichur road you would find few decent hotels.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE AT HOTEL ASHOKA FAMILY RESTAURANT, PRASHANT NAGAR, GANGAVATI - OVERPRICED, UNDERCOOKED, OVERCOOKED, AND COMPLETELY UNHYGIENIC FOOD, PATHETIC SERVICE, AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, THEY EVEN HAD THE NERVE TO OVERCHARGE FOR WATER BOTTLES AND SOFT DRINKS, COMPLETELY RIPOFF, AVOID THIS DUMP AT ALL COSTS, ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!

The room service was extremely poor, and the pricing was unreasonably high compared to the quality and standard of the rooms. It did not meet expectations at all.

Not family safe. Stay away from this lodge if you value good behavior of the staff. Room boys themselves get drunk at night and misbehave with customers. Management takes no strict action on such staff, instead they try to silence the protesting customers. In fact, the owner, the manager themselves are drunkards. That's why they have an attached bar. This lodge is suitable only for drunkards.

WARNING WORST FOOD EVER . WASTE OF MONEY.

We arrived at the Ashoka Hotel around 1.30 in the morning. Everyone was sound asleep but security finally arrived and opened the gate. People were sleeping on the floor at the reception as well. Many of them were later seen as receptionists. A flawless hotel in the area. Good rooms. Waste management does not seem to be going well. Yet the staff all cooperated well. One thing to note is that there is a restaurant next to this hotel. The night is not working but the food is super. It is tasty. Tea is also good. The price is much lower than in Kerala. Lemon tea is not available here even though the lemon is in the fridge. However, a staff member added lemons to the hot water. There is also a bar right next to this hotel.
