My experience was so amazing. Mr Jobin came outside at gate to pick us personally and guided us very nicely. Ms. Deepika at the reception was so polite and sweet to talk with. We ordered chicken biryani and kathi roll made by the chef abhijith which was very tasty and fulling. Overall i enjoyed my stay here. Must visit :)

I recently had a short overnight layover and stayed at 080 transit hotel, which turned out to be a surprisingly pleasant experience for a transit hotel. Located conveniently within the airport , it made my travel much less stressful. The check-in process was quick and efficient, which I really appreciated after a long flight. The room was compact but clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and all the essentials: strong Wi-Fi, a hot shower, bottled water, and even a small desk for catching up on emails. Noise levels were minimal despite being close to the terminals, which is a huge plus. Staff were courteous and helpful, especially with wake-up calls and providing updates on flight information. While I wouldn't choose it for a long vacation stay, It served its purpose perfectly: a restful, hassle-free break between flights. I'd definitely stay again if I have another layover.

We had a great transit experience. We were welcomed by Ms.Darshana at gate #5, escorted thru security and smooth checkin was done by her along with Ms.Revathi. We opted in for meal package and had an amazing food prepared by Mr Deepak and served by Mr. Jobin. 3c meal was the best after long trvael from north america. Definitely recommend the stay and food.

Stayed for an overnight layover, very convenient location and comfortable room. (It is directly above the departure hall so there is some background noise in the room but easily ignored or shut out with ear plugs.) The service is wonderful, with quick email responses and smooth welcome from all the reception staff. I had some problems with booking online at first but was able to resolve it quickly over email. The food (I only tried breakfast, idli wada) was delicious, thank you to chef Dipak Nath and staff member Jobin for giving me such a great start to the day!

"Exceptional service from Darshana at the 080 transit hotel! She was very understanding, humble, and friendly. When I struggled with my luggage due to a hurt hand, she kindly offered to help carry and check-in my bags. Her kindness and compassion truly made my day. I'm grateful for her assistance and hospitality. Highly recommend this hotel and Darshana outstanding service! 5/5 stars" Suggestion: Food menu needs to be improved.

This review is for the 080 Transit Hotel at T2 and not T1. Unfortunately, I do not see this distinction made on Trip Advisor, that's why I mentioned this in the previous sentence.||My wife and I stayed at this T2 hotel overnight, as we connected from a domestic to an international flight. I would like to begin this review by advising readers how to get to the hotel in T2 from T1, as information on this is either hard to find or non-existent. After you land at T1 and collect your luggage, exit the T1 terminal and follow the signs to the interterminal bus service to T2. After you alight at T2, you will be on the departures level. The hotel is situated opposite gate number four that is at the arrivals level. To get to arrivals, catch the lift that is opposite door number 2 and descend one level below. This will bring you to arrivals. Exit the lift and take a left, walking straight to the Nandini booth (stall). As you approach the Nandini booth, you will see the 080 T2 Transit Hotel on your left.||Before you enter the hotel there's a concierge desk. They will ask to see your hotel reservation BEFORE you are allowed inside. What if you do not have one? I don't know. I showed them a pdf of the reservation on my phone and that sufficed. My wife and I were then allowed inside. After going through security, you can check-in at the front desk.||The hotel room was clean and quite spacious, beyond expectations for an airport hotel. The bathroom was clean and well equipped. A complimentary dental kit and shaving kit are included. The shower seems to run out of hot water after running for a few minutes and we ended up having lukewarm showers. I do not know if this is an issue with heater capacity - volume or wattage. For the record, we did not report this to the front desk. The drinking water in the room was made available in a glass bottle that can be refilled on request. We did not use this; we carried our own packaged drinking water. The curious feature in this room is the restriction on the room temperature. Please see the attached photograph for reference. When I tried to set the thermostat to 18 C, the A/C unit frequently cut out and the temperature would not fall below 23 C. As instructed in the photograph I called for assistance. The employee who came in to assist advised me that the thermostat should not be lowered below 22 C. If done so, it will lead to the frequent cut out behaviour of the A/C, and he pointed me to the policy - room temperature 22 C plus or minus one. I told him that mine was stuck on 23 C and if it could be brought to 22 C, it would make a difference. He told me that he would see what he could do, and set the temperature on the thermostat to 22 C before leaving. After a while, the temperature did get to 22 C and stayed there for the duration of our stay. Nowhere on the website of the hotel is this policy or limitation or feature mentioned, and it is definitely worth noting before you decide to stay here. I also want to point out that the fan speed was stuck on Auto with no option to change that. Note the lock symbol in the top right hand of the attached photograph; I suppose that means the settings are locked. ||My wife and I had our dinner in the restaurant. We had a biryani each, portion size being sufficient for one person and is not to be confused with portion sizes in regular restaurants where two persons could share a biryani. The menu selection was limited. I do want to point out that the biryani was decent.||In summary, a great place to have a short stay on your transit from a domestic to an international flight at Bengaluru International Airport if the room temperature restriction is not a deal breaker for you.

The experience altogether is excellent. I would undoubtedly chose this particular hotel again and again whenever I get to journey via Bangalore. The food is fantastic. Kudos to the chef. The service is really commendable. I would recommend this transit stay.
