This is good, clean place next to Temple. Food is good. Service is good. Bathrooms are clean and good hot water 24 hrs. Staff is friendly. Restaurant quality is good as well. Beds and rooms are slightly beaten down but still clean. Lift didn't work the week we were here.

Disappointing Experience - Poor Food and Visited an ambient restaurant which just looked good from outside and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. We ordered the Manchow soup, but the fried noodles had a strong oily smell, making it quite unappetizing. When we brought this up to the staff, they dismissively responded, "It tastes like this only," rather than addressing our concern or offering a solution. To make matters worse, a few of the starters we had ordered were skipped, and we had to remind them multiple times. The biggest issue was the contradiction between the manager and the staff regarding the food quality--while we clearly noticed the unpleasant smell, they insisted there was nothing wrong. Instead of taking feedback constructively, they seemed more interested in proving us wrong.

Rooms are neat and clean with balcony options. But check the bathroom's door lock once also its restaurant doesn't serve good food. We had South Indian Udipi breakfast it was very very oily..!

Visited today Shankar Dutta for Lunch it was horrible experience. It took more then hour for the normal food to be delivered. And as it misguide the name mentioned on hotel which says South street but it doesn't serve south indian food at all. Would never recommend to anyone. They have to jmprove a lot kn there services. Apart from all the cons it is very expensive.

One of the best hotel in ganagapur, we are stay with my family, the room was very clear, and well maintained, offering a comfortable stay, it's nearby temple,. On a positive note, the hospitality and service were outstanding

I recently stayed at Hotel Shankar Datta in Gangapur for my darshan trip, expecting a comfortable and relaxing stay for 5100. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. - Subpar Rooms : The room was very basic, lacking even the most fundamental amenities. The fans continuously made loud noises, disrupting my peace. I've never seen such an average room at this price point anywhere. - No Toiletries : To my surprise, there were no toiletries provided, not even basic necessities like toothpaste. When I inquired, the staff replied they couldn't provide or arrange one for me. - Non- functional Phone : The phone in the room was non-functional, and I had to call their Google-listed number to communicate with reception. * Infestation : The rooms, bathroom, and restaurant were infested with insects and lizards, making my stay unbearable. * Mediocre Food : The food was average, and the service was slow. It took them a long time to serve orders. * Overpriced : Considering the services provided, the price of 5100 was exorbitant. * Unhelpful Staff : The staff seemed unconcerned with guest satisfaction, failing to provide even basic amenities. * Worst Restaurant Experience : - Worst tea ever (even in the morning!) - Slow service - Average food *Conclusion* This hotel's subpar services ruined my Gangapur trip. I would never return, even if I revisit Gangapur. For 5100, you deserve far better. *Advice:* Avoid this hotel at all costs. Explore better options in Gangapur.

Its new building but poor room size. Arping bed may lead to back ache. Has restaurant but opens after 6:30. Room service of smallest thing leads to time of 30 minutes. They doo have other rooms of 3/4 bed they are large but value for money is poor

If you're just looking for a place to sleep, this hotel might be okay because the rooms are decent. But if you plan to eat here, forget it. The restaurant service is atrocious. Every time we ordered food, it took over an hour to arrive--if it arrived at all. On one occasion, they simply never bothered to deliver our meal. The food quality doesn't even justify the wait. Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else.
