Ocean Gate Cottage

Beautiful stay, rooms are clean and maintained in hygienic condition. The organizer was customer Friendly and supportive in every manner. The stay is next to the beach, located a bit far from the main beach and offers a peaceful,quiet and polite experience. Restaurant service,taste and food quality was extremely good. I would definitely consider this stay next time when I visit Gokarna! I Highly recommend this stay!

The two star is not for the place but the experience. Good rooms and sea side location BUT good place ONLY if sleep and peace are not in your requirement. This good place is surrounded by other tent stays and resorts which have many people in it. These resorts play very high music all day till 11pm and make you rethink and miss your traffic jam horns. The resort person tries to deal and get the music low but it is only a matter of time. Around 20 mins from Gokarna main road. Good village side ride in silent roads. To put it in a sentence, this place is nice if one can blind their ears.

We stayed at Ocean Gate Cottage for two days and had an amazing experience. The staff was polite, the service was excellent, and the rooms were clean and cozy. The best part was the proper beach view where we could sit, enjoy the sunset, and have delicious food from their restaurant. A perfect place to relax--we'd love to visit again! Higley recommended .

Good rooms in reasonable price with attached bathroom, Cottage room are just meters away from beach and beach is very less crowded comparebly. Food charges are not included in the cottage package. The owner of the cottage is well behaved and helpful to people. The resturant costs more and has less veg options, breakfast options are also less for vegetarians. For food you can try out other cottage or tent house restaurant around which are good. This stay is 5km away from gokarna city, so no transport is available other then local autos, they charge very high and its common here. For 5km they charge 250rs. Better to get a rental bike if staying in gokarna and want to explore the local city. For auto pick up and drop, you can check with cottage or tent owners nearby they will have auto drivers phone numbers.

This is just a food review. Their service and their ambience is very good. In dinner we had veg fried rice, Schezwan noodles and a paneer starter. The paneer starter was well made, rest of the items were just decent, nothing great.

We visited their restaurant. Food quality is good but I need to wait. Located on the beach. The beach view was amazing & a very calm place.

Very good rooms with beach views. Food was food and service was excellent. Rooms were clean. Hot water was also available. Very reasonable price.

It was the best choice we made to stay in the cottage limited rooms. Easy accessible to the beach, I suggest do not go to any place if ur a sunset lover apart from this. One thing I found less Is music during evening.
