Our experience at this property was shockingly bad. Right from the moment we checked in, nothing worked the way it should. The air conditioner in our room wasn't functioning, and it took repeated complaints before a maintenance person came late at night. Only after I suggested checking the filters did they bother to replace them--at night, while we were trying to rest.|The toilet didn't flush properly either. When we reported it, the front desk shockingly told us that toilet paper isn't meant to be flushed. What are guests supposed to do with it?|The manager was rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to take responsibility for any of the issues. Not once did he acknowledge our inconvenience or offer an apology. The restaurant was another nightmare--meals were served in an open area swarming with flies and bugs. It was unbearably hot and extremely unhygienic. We rushed through our dinner just to escape the insects. To make matters worse, the food was below average, my stomach got upset, and I even found a stone in one of the dishes.|The pool looked dirty and completely uninviting--we didn't even feel like touching the water.|Although we had booked for two nights, we couldn't take it beyond one. When we complained again about the non functional toilet, they moved us to a different room at the far end of the property--an even more rundown area. That room had blood stains on the bed and the same flushing issues. We decided to leave immediately.|On top of all this, getting around the property was physically exhausting. Each time we had to go to the dining area or anywhere else, we had to climb many steep steps. This is not ideal for families, older guests, or anyone with mobility issues.|Adding to the frustration, the reservations agent, Leela, was unprofessional and rude. She wouldn't answer calls and hung up on us.|When we mentioned that we would go to the consumer court to get our money back for the unused part of the stay, the manager casually responded that they've been to consumer court many times. That says everything about the pathetic state of this place and how little the management seems to care.|Don't be misled by the positive reviews--they seem fake after the ordeal we went through. The only saving grace was the massage therapist, who did an excellent job. But that one positive doesn't come close to making up for the awful experience.|Would absolutely not recommend this place.

Amazing getaway from the city. 1. Beautifully surrounded by hills and nature. You can hear peacocks and various birds singing. Very Peaceful!! 2. Amazing massage by Linshi (i went for 45 mins full body oil massage and shirodhara) 3. Great face pack in the morning 4. Amazing meditation and yoga session 5. Very helpful staff - Gajaraj helped with luggage and kitchen staff (especially Abhiram) also helped us with food, made chai for us especially. Thank you for your hospitality.
We had high expectations from Tattvam, owing to the price and the reviews we saw. Unfortunately it was quite a bit of a let down. Everything here feels a bit careless, and not well catered to. This review is more catered towards couples/friend groups, and not families. The place : the property is at a good location and ideally should have been a great stay. However, the space is not well designed/curated and can border on dingy. Even the extra activities feel listless and strewn around. The staff : while the staff are friendly and attentive, they do not possess the alertness you would expect from a property charging 30k for 2 nights. Also slots booked for massage etc had a lot of waiting and bad coordination. The food : The food quantity and variety is good, but the quality is substandard. It is not something you should look forward to during your stay. The massages : This may be a personal preference, but the massages felt more like beauty treatments vs a massage - focus on oil application and oil penetration into the skin vs tissue relaxation. Even the facial was a 5 min job, it feels misleading on the website. My partner felt that the massage was a hit or a miss. The rooms : Rooms are decent, bathrooms are nice. Again - lacks charm, but facilities are intact. I think overall, if I had paid perhaps half the amount, it would've been a decent experience. But for the price, it definitely felt average at best and not worth it. Peacock gazing and some of the view points were the highlights. Perhaps it would be a good place for families with kids, definitely avoid for couples/friend groups.
We had an amazing time at Tattvam Resort! The ambiance is truly refreshing, with a serene and well-maintained environment that makes it a perfect getaway. The resort offers a great selection of games and activities, ensuring fun for all age groups. The food was exceptional, with a variety of delicious options that exceeded our expectations. A special mention to Mr. Abhiram, who served us with great hospitality and ensured we had a fantastic dining experience. Overall, we highly recommend Tattvam Resort for families looking for a great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy quality time together. A must-visit for those seeking a perfect hangout spot!
We had a good stay at Tattvam in the hills. The ambience is very peaceful and relaxing. The scenery is beautiful with hills and trees and birds (lots of monkeys on the property so you may want to consider that if they scare you, they generally left us alone, though). There are activities like yoga, meditation, swimming, games and other physical activities to keep you occupied. There is an ayurvedic spa with expert therapists like Anupriya. The food is excellent and the kitchen staff led by Abhiram is very polite and helpful. It is a great weekend break from routine not too far from the city. Some areas of improvement: the towels and bedsheets etc can be cleaner. So can the pool. Also, best to come in your own transportation, as taxi from the resort to the airport/city is expensive.
Serene place, perfect for taking a day out for yourself with some self care and added advantage is family along with you We had asked for a small celebration to be arranged and Gajaraj did an amazing job with the decor. And the food at the resort was just apt, Abiram has taken a note of guests preferences, it pretty much had north indian, south indian cuisines. Overall loved the place, staff exemptedly sweet. Would love to visit here again.
Good place to spend a day out with friends and family. Lovely drive from the City, very scenic location, good service, a pool, and other activities for everyone's fun. The Ayurveda spa is also there in case you need a treat. Only the food is a little bland but I won't complain...
This review is about our recent visit in April2023 to Tattvam, me and my husband for 2N3D weekends stay package All inclusive with two ayurvedic massage/treatment per night of stay per person. This resort is a pure vegetarian resort close to the Ghati Subramaniam temple and can be called a vegetarian resort that offers Kerala ayurvedic spa services. Food included lunch, high tea/snacks, dinner and breakfast. It offers quiet room without TV, ayurvedic spa, yoga, meditation. It was a warm welcome with arrival drink, some souvenirsand and meeting the GM Mr. Alam. He was kind enough to allow us an early check-in and the room was also ready. They have 8 rooms at higher side for better view and 10 rooms at the lower side of the hill. The entire resort is like 3 layer, lots of up and down walking and slopes, so not good for people with weak knees. Our lower deck room was huge and clean with a foyer, bedroom, and attached bathroom. Toiletries, bath towels, cupboards with mirror, side tables, hot water kettle, water bottles are provided. Foyer has two chairs and a coffee table. Missing items are TV, hair dryer, iron box. Resort has multiple small gardens, meditation/yoga center, restaurant, swimming pool, rain dance, bonfire, indoor games. But it misses any large lawn or smooth walking space. One must notice that this is a pure vegetarian resort and food is absolutely delicious at each time. Lunch and dinner served north and south Indian, continental, Chinese cuisines. There are alacarte food options too. HiTea had tea, coffee, pakoda and cookies. Even breakfast was scrumptious with poori subji, pongal, poha and lots more. Everywhere copper vessels are kept for drinking water. The big let down was the pool which is partitioned for kids(2ft) and adults (4-5ft deep). It was full of algae, leaves, dust and water wasn't transparent at all, we didn't dare to go inside. Also the restrooms near the reception are in pathetic condition. There are changing rooms & rain dance next to the pool. As part of the wellness package, we received 45mins each of abhyanga, potli massage, shirodhara and 5mins face pack service. Kerala style massage is a naked massage with just one transparent loin cloth. The place is serene and peaceful, however felt hot and dry during summer time. Not very dense forest around, quiet rocky and dry. There are monkeys and a few stray dogs around. Few peacocks and birds could be spotted. Many stone benches all over to sit and look over the view. The dining area is an open space with roof, airy and lighted. There are other indoor games - carrom, foosball, billiards, TT all in one room and not very well maintained. Even the badminton rackets and football are almost in gone condition. The resort felt earthy, welcoming but missed maintenance of game facilities and swimming pool, hence would not be ideal for day outing. Also except 3 parking spaces, it's all unpaved so could be terribly muddy during rains. The connecting road has steep ups and down. All the staff were polite and eager to serve us well. Restaurant manager Mr. Arman looked after each guest personally and took feedback every time. Must visit this place for the awesome food and guided yoga, mediation sessions plus Kerala spa. The yoga/meditation instructor was great. Overall, it was a great experience for us for the price offered.
