Hotel Davanagere

I don't say it's not good, but not worth of your money. Infact if you can check-in any other hotel for this price you will get better service. I stayed for a day single booking, the room is very very small, no cupboard, no mirror, broken ceiling, unwashed bedspread full of hairs, no cable network, switches are our of reach from bed. When I say all these issues with reception guy, he just said (scrolling his mobile) it's their way of keeping hotel & tariff. I regularly 10 to 15 days at stretch travel all across Karnataka, but nowhere felt such experience. It's like they say they won't change, & they will be like this whatever comes & whoever reports issues... I'm sorry, I forgot to take pics of room...

For the cost, the rooms are not worth it. The towels were dirty, there were mosquitoes inside, and the toilets were unclean.

Great place to stay rooms are large ,including the enquire bath and toilet. The AC worked well located away from the bed. Had breakfast homestyle food served . The hotel service was very good too. Value for money spent . Mr Badrinath was friendly at the reception including Mr Farhan and the remaining hotel crew.

Absence of courteous staff. Misinformation - while booking they said 24 hours, next day forced us to vacate by 11 AM. We had to fight to resolve. No hot water & no power back up Poor air conditioners. Utterly dissatisfied

Firstly this is not part of Clarks Hotel group. Don't get fooled by the imitation name. Secondly they don't honor bookings from Travel aggregator apps but will continue to list their property open for bookings on Agoda. Not sure if it's problem with hotel administration or Agoda. Had terrible experience when this place did not honor bookings from Agoda when I reached there at 9.45pm on 20th April 2024 after 6 hour drive from Bengaluru enroute to Hubbali. Thirdly when you raise a complaint with Agoda customer care, hotel will blame the guest as "no show" instead of accepting their mistake. Finally they don't even have a phone number shared on Google in 2024 or property contact number shared by Agoda not operational. So very unprofessional people managing this place. If you want save yourself from stress stay as far away from this place as possible.
