Ashok Inn Hotel

Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff is super helpful but I did have to wait for one of the room to be ready for check-in despite reaching the hotel at 3PM. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Their in-house cafe/hotel has good food options and the ambience too is really good.

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent condition of this establishment in Davangere. It met, or even surpassed, the standards I'd expect in Bangalore. Their cafe offered delicious food. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a pleasant dining or lodging experience. The staff were exceptionally courteous and polite. The pricing wasn't too high. In short, the place exceeded my expectations.

Had a nice stay in Ashok Inn on 4th April . Extremely polite staff , clean room. Bathroom cleanliness could have could have been better. Located Next to bus stand so we could hear horn noises and announcements during odd hours.

Service staff should learn how to behave with customers. They make fun of customers and reception staff support them. House keeping workers particularly car washing staffs behavior is not acceptable. Just you have to ignore them. Around 11pm wanted ice cream but reply was everything is closed. People stayed in hotel should be given some essentials services. Their reply is like accordingly. And staff taking your luggage to your room are very good if you pay them tips otherwise they will bang your main door while leaving your room. Canteen services is not up to the mark. We ordered something they brought some thing and didn't get toast till finish my tea. Overall structure is good but maintenance staff needs a training look like immature staff. Politely behavior makes a very good location to stay.

Hotel Ashok Inn in Davanagere exceeded our expectations for a 3-star hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable furnishings and modern amenities. The overall ambiance of the hotel was pleasant, and the staff was courteous and helpful. We stopped by for a night's rest during a long drive, expecting a comfortable stay. However, despite the otherwise excellent experience, we had trouble sleeping due to mosquitos in the room. If this issue is addressed, it would make for a perfect stopover.

Positives - it's one of the top rated hotels in Davangere and very close to a bus stand . I stayed in suite room and it was very decent for that town. In-house restaurant served nice delicious food . The restaurant and house keeping staffs were very sweet but I would say they need some more training but this is not a complaint . Special mention to their general manager Nelson and reception staff Vijay as they were very helpful when we had some escalation with our room allotment . Cons - there is a front office manger called Ravi and he is an absolute disgrace . He lacks basic mannerism , rude to customers , horrible attitude and literally a bad representation of this hotel . We booked 3 suite rooms via booking.com but he allocated only two and downgraded third suite room to family room which is inexpensive compared to suite but never bothered to inform when we checked in. Firstly he didn't care to speak to us and when I disagreed on the allotment , he was beating around the bush , lying and never gave exact reasons why we don't have the third suite room . General manager Mr. Nelson involved and got this sorted when I escalated . In booking.com , cost of suite is 6800 and per hotel prices the cost of family room which was allocated is 4700 . The worse part is , after allocating an inexpensive room the front office manager wants us to pay the cost of suite room which is a difference of 2100. This is literally fraud. I had to give my piece of mind to front office manager to shut his mouth and unprofessional attitude . End of the day, I did pay only for two suites and one family room. But the whole argument and the experience was sick. If the senior management is seeing this review , pls take appropriate actions . This guy Ravi is a bad advertisement to your hotel . The receptionist Vijay does a better job ! If you want to talk to me on this matter , the hotel has my number and please feel free to call me .

I must appreciate the ambiance and the maintenance of this hotel. Everything is good, but the downside is that they allow unmarried couples. I think you know what I mean, and the whole atmosphere is quite alcoholic.

This is really bad Management Hotel, this people making fraud for guests who staying in hotels. They are converting credit card EMI during bill payments without informing guests and will not respond any further clarification, this is really very poor management and making fraud for guests. Please do not say such hotels going forward and please take care during bills payments without.
