The parijat cottages

I was a little sceptical about booking this place given the lack of reviews or information. Our arrival didn't help with the anxiety, since the reception was locked and nobody was around. I finally called up the number on their website and a lady came up to receive us. There is a reception at the entrance, and you have to climb down from there to get to the actual property where the rooms, pool and restaurant are. The rooms were lovely and clean, the bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. And - the people were warm and welcoming. The place is only about six months old, there are a few details that need attention, but the overall experience was good. If you're planning to work from there, the internet is available only in the restaurant and can be patchy if you're taking calls. I also faced a few power cuts while on call, which was frustrating but when we shared feedback, the owners decided to get a UPS for their router. There was barely any mobile network, but who needs that anyway. I'd recommend this place if you're in Dandeli.

Pretty rooms and prettier overall resort vibe. The exteriors are mesmerising. Service was amazing. The staff made sure to make us comfortable and made additional arrangements as per our requirements without any questions. Highly recommended.
