Casa Coorg Homestay

We stayed with another couple for seven nights , taking two rooms between us, both the rooms are very comfortable, lovely and clean , with great shower rooms and super terraces looking over the beautiful array of different plants and fauna . A huge variety of colourful bird life are constantly flitting around .|Breakfast was always really delicious with lots of variety. We elected to have dinner most evenings which was always outstanding, Pearl and Bharat usually ate with us for both mean times. They are such a lovely couple , making us all feel so relaxed, and are very interesting people , we had some great conversations. |There are some great places to visit, such as the Tibetan Monastery, Coffee and Spice plantations not to mention the excellent Coorg Golf Course right in the doorstep|Would absolutely recommend staying at Casa Coorg

We booked to go for 8 nights. 2 couples. To mainly play golf. We had an amazing time. The rooms were well appointed and had separation from the main house for privacy. The hosts Bharat and Pearl were very welcoming. The staff, Santosh and others were very discrete and helpful. The food was excellent - both veg and non-veg. We had dinner there most nights. A secluded place with lots of bird life and some small wildlife. The golf course was 4 minutes away by car. An excellent course with a very challenging 1st nine. It is definitely on my list to go back in the near future. Thoroughly recommend this homestay.

This place came to me with the highest recommendation by my dear friend Dr Rajesh who stayed here in late 2013 and I feel compelled to do the same|Splendid was our stay at Casa Coorg , we unfortunately didn't get to meet Colonel Bharat and Pearl mam as they were out of town but thier helper Santosh took good care of us and Bharat sir was just a call away if I needed help for anything as much as trivial for the length of our stay and overlooked our entire stay through Santosh|The whole property and the room we stayed at overlooks a huge span of lush green cover as far as the eye can see , located in the midst of thick forest on one side and golf course on the other , the estate is nothing short of a dream home one could dream of to spend the rest of thier life |We woke up to kraa.. sounds of peacocks and a melodies of sweet birds chirping thier way to start our day |As we strolled our way along the compounds there were a myriad species of blooming flowers |Our room was spic and span and what I noticed was the whole house was immaculately maintained to order |The food served for dinner and breakfast was a gastronomic delight , my wife was enquiring about the made recipes of kidney bean curry and the Papputu with channa curry combination |All in all my review comes with the highest recommendations if you are looking to be lost from the mundane realities of life in the city and get lost in mother natures lap for a brief stint |Would like to thank Bharat sir for having us..

A beautiful homestay within serene surroundings. Perfect for a quiet outing amidst nature. The place sits adjacent to a golf course. Very high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. The hospitality of the couple (the gentleman as well as the lady are Indian Army veterans) was exemplary; we never felt away from home. Food was simple and delicious. Highly recommended!

This was our first Homestay experience in India and it was truly wonderful. The accommodation is very cozy, nothing very fancy but all our needs were catered for with minute attention to detail. Hygiene was world standard. Food was delightful. Both Bharat and Pearl are wonderful hosts and we heard very interesting stories over meals. Coorg Golf Links is literally at a stone's throw and hence this place is ideal for golf lovers and those on golfing holidays.|I suggest that one of their cottages be named Pearl Harbour!

We were looking for a very quiet place in the woods and ' casa coorg homestay' has met all our expectations. Though hosts - Col Bharat and his wife - were away during our trip, they ensured that their team 'santosh and abdul' did everything to make our stay very, very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were simple yet sumptous -which is exactly how we enjoy our meals Sitting in the verendha and looking into vast spaces of greenery and listening to the brids while reading a book was sheer bliss. Their adorable dogs ' Oreo and cooru' made Casa Coorg truly a casa (home) away from home.||Highly recommend Casa Coorg and look forward to our next stay!

Me and my wife,recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming homestay in Coorg of veteran officers both husband and wife, Col Bharath and Capt Pearl. It was an experience we won't soon forget. Though the owners were out of station due to their prior commitment but none the less, the warm and welcoming hospitality offered by their staff clearly reflected the efforts put in, they truly made me feel at home. Their kindness and attentiveness were evident from the moment we arrived, ensuring that all our needs were taken care of with genuine care. The staff Santosh and the cook Abu Kalam, were equally impressive. Polite, soft-spoken. The cook not only prepared delicious meals, but his wife also pitched in to assist, creating a wonderful atmosphere of community and hospitality. The homestay itself is situated in a picturesque location in Coorg, surrounded by lush greenery and serene landscapes. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was the ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you're seeking a blend of comfort, beautiful surroundings, and genuine hospitality, this place is a must-visit.

I had this as my go to place for a long time , but never could get moons aligned and somehow was always pre booked. |Call it Serendipity, a casual wa message to Col Chevar that too over the New Year weekend in 2024, and voila , got the place.|Spent three nights at this pristine place . Added advantage being from the veteran community , lots to catch up. |The support staff, the rooms were all maintained with the highest standard . In the Army we used to call it * Ticky Ticky Boo* :-)|Would recommend this place for anyone who seeks a pregnant pause of nature at its best.|The company of the hosts and the personal care is commendable.|Thank you sir and Mm
