Decent room in a great location just opposite the fort. But its extremely pricey. Paid Rs 3300 for a standard ac double room which is high for an offbeat location like Chitradurga. There was no complimentary breakfast too and a very late check in of 1 pm. Staff is courteous, canteen serves good food in reasonable price and is the only decent eating place nearby. Opted for a garden facing room which gives a nice view.

Such a awesome place to stay . Very beautiful life location and well maintained, very tasty and affordable food. Very good service. Rooms a re huge and well maintained. Vicinity to fort is additional point. Well done by hotel management
This place is ideally located near the Chitradurga fort making it easy for travellers. The room we were in was completely old style with very limited facilities. We could only get their family room with 8 beds as they had no other options available. There are no lockers in the room. Basic necessities like a water kettle, water bottles, are also missing. I found lizards in the room. The dressing table had dirt on it. Washrooms were clean and hot water was available easily. But on the other hand, the staff was warm. The food in the restaurant was really good. Overall I would say it was quite an average room for the price charged. But great value when it comes in terms of it's location and food options.
Hotel is super duper good. Satisfied with service, cleanliness food quality too. We taken family room which was 8 beded. Very comfortable and spacious. Location is just attched to Chitradurga fort. Very calm and peaceful place. Highly recommended. I also had breakfast and dinner in this restaurant, all menus are just perfect. If going to visit Chitradurga Fort I will suggest you must stay at KSTDC's Mayura Durg.
Decent rooms, good service and great location. What it lacks is the maintenance. The mattresses were creaking even for my 60kg frame, no tea bags or paste in the room... Bring your own
Hardly a 3 star hotel - basic room with ac and a small bathroom without geyser. Room had a tv but was unplugged. Location is best if the purpose is to visit the Chitradurga fort ( which is amazing with a guide to explore) Service is ok - room didn't have any towels - they delivered upon request. Complementary breakfast had idly and dosa as the only choices. Food quality is just average . Most of the time no body stays in the reception - no one picks up the phone if you try to contact the reception.
The location of the hotel is perfect if you are visiting the Chitradurga fort, it is just A100 meter away. The rooms were spacious and had all basic facilities available. They maintained the garden beautifully that creates the ambiance of staying in the heart of a forest.
Typical government run hotel that has a great location next to the fort. Room was clean but dated, the tv tiny, the bathroom was also poorly designed. The in house restaurant didn't seem to be operational most of the time.
