Treebo RC Comforts

We had an amazing experience at RC Comforts! Originally, we had booked a different hotel of Treebo since we were arriving in Chikmagalur early in the morning around 4:30 AM. To manage the early check-in, we had even booked it for two days. However, when we reached, there was no one at the reception, and despite waiting for an hour and being on continuous calls with a Treebo executive, no help arrived. That's when we were offered a stay at Treebo RC Comforts by the executive--and we couldn't be more grateful! The manager answered the call from Treebo executive at that early hour and warmly welcomed us. His kindness and prompt response truly made a difference. The staff was equally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The property itself is beautiful. You get a great view of the Mullayanagiri Peak from the window. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully decorated. We especially loved the collection of wall paintings that added such warmth and liveliness to the space. Highly recommend Treebo RC Comforts for anyone visiting Chikmagalur. Great hospitality and lovely ambience!

We, a group of tourists from Alappuzha district in Kerala, booked 10 rooms at this hotel for our families. We arrived at the hotel on 19-04-2025 around 9 AM and requested our rooms. The management asked us to wait for some time and allocated a few rooms for us to freshen up. After that, we began our trip exploring the attractions near Chikmagalur. After a long journey from Kerala and a day of sightseeing in Chikmagalur, we were tired. Unfortunately, the rooms we were assigned were not up to standard; they had a foul smell in the bathrooms. We immediately brought this to the attention of the manager, but instead of addressing our concerns, he threatened and shouted at us, insisting we vacate the room or he would call the police. Our family group, "ORUMA," has been known for arranging numerous tour experiences for our members since 1999, and we have never encountered such a poor experience with a hotel before. Our state is known for welcoming tourists from Karnataka and other states, treating our guests with love and good hospitality. However, this hotel and its management treated us very poorly. We strongly advise against selecting this hotel at any cost. Had we checked the previous reviews about this hotel, we would have avoided this unfortunate situation. Thankfully, we found a new place, "HOTEL UNITED KITES" AT HASSAN, in Karnadaka state where we enjoyed excellent hospitality and a three-star experience.

The accomodation and the staff were top notch. All the staff were really hospitable especially Madhu and the property owner Anil as well. The complementary breakfast was great as well. Overall would highly recommend this stay.

Had a wonderful stay in this room! It was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities, including the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and hassle-free stay!

This place is a complete scam! We booked two rooms through Agoda and provided the booking ID at reception, but the staff claimed they had not received it. They insisted we cancel the booking and pay directly, which we refused. Instead, they told us to stay overnight, assuring us that by morning, the booking would reflect in their system. However, when we checked out, they demanded payment again and forced us to pay 5,750, claiming they had still not received the amount. This was outright fraud. Before booking via Agoda, we even asked if they could match the price, but they refused. Yet, after we booked, they denied our reservation and forced us to pay again. This all happened late at night, making it an obvious trap for guests. These people are crooks, and their tactics are highly unethical. Beware of this place!

Written in my own frank & personal opinion -- I had an excellent stay at Treebo RC Comforts. It is located along the main road. Though there were some constructions going on outside my room window, it didn't go on when sun set. The rooms are lined facing the fields and not the main road so night time is rather quiet. Room is spacious, sheets were clean, as per hotel photos and mine. Big bathroom with amenities. Towel given was new. Just plugged on the fridge and all was good. I loved watching some free but good movies in the room! That was a super plus point for me to chill & relax in the quiet environment. My room came with a ceiling fan and an aircon unit. Lights were aplenty with good switches especially installed next to the bedsides, so convenient for people like me who wear thick glasses (almost blind without my specs, so to speak). Hot water at faucets/taps was instant. Exhaust fan in the bathroom was helpful so I didn't have to breathe moldy airs. Lots of storage space for those who stay longer. Clean, bright & airy reception area. Breakfast was very simple, they don't have a restaurant yet on the highest level because the hotel is still new. But food tasted great, bearing in mind I am a choosy eater. The eating area is spacious and well-planned out so I'm sure they would be ready once the occupancy rates picked up. Lots of space in the hotel and room which I didn't feel claustrophobic. Bright, airy and inviting. Mr Madhu who checked me in was friendly. Very smooth process and he helped me with my luggage. On my check-out day, I realised he and his brother are the owners of Treebo properties! They were very friendly, family-run property owners indeed. Given time, their business will surpass many as they accepted feedbacks from patrons in positive manners. Some minor improvements could be made: 1. Wi-fi details could be written on their hotel cards next time. Could to provide your information for tourists too. 2. Breakfasts can do slightly earlier for patrons who need to catch morning sightseeing. 3. Toilet roll wasn't in the bathroom (might be because of the low occupancy rate) but we could just ask for it, anytime. 4. Provision of wooden stirrers should be helpful for those who want to make their own coffee in the room. 5. My room's bathroom had a little drainage problem, this was highlighted to the owner. 6. There is a narrow balcony outside the room passable by external doors. A quick clean-up and place some potted green plants would do wonderful cheers. 7. There was a step-up in my room, good to have some illuminating strips to caution stayers. Owners were very humble and accommodating. Families with children were running along the corridor, the noise didn't irritate me as I knew they were happily enjoying their stays. The surrounding area of the hotel doesn't seem to have much to offer yet, I'm sure Treebo RC Comforts will do so in no time. I highly recommend this hotel to those who enjoy comforts and relaxation in the heart of all the tourist attractions located not so far away. I recently stayed at the hotel and had a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and responsive, ensuring all my needs were met promptly. It made my trip even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Chikmagalur. Looking forward to visiting again

Worst experience ever, do not go to this place please 1.They didn't provide the towel. 2.They said complimentary breakfast but on the name of it they had only idli and nothing else. 3.Even the staff was not helpful. 4.They didn't provide the water bottle. Asking for water, they said that it is not included. 5.They don't have AC remote in the room. Not sure for what we paid for. 6.They provided electric kettle but all dirty. 7.They don't have door locks on washroom. 8.They mix water in shower gel and asking why they do so, they said "we are protecting you from chemical". 9.They don't have proper drainage in washrooms. If you take shower water will collect on the floor. I mean seriously is this what we paid for. And the list is so long. Just don't stay here. Pathetic Experience Ever. Surely I will not Recommended this stay option to anyone. Please escalate this. Please don't waste your hard earned money going here.
