My review is based on the restaurant experience & not on stay. Yet being a native of Chikmagalur, I refer, for any tourist to dine here, which other wise may miss out. I hope this review, helps you on your road trip to Chikmagalur. i have mentioned a clear picture of what to expect & for me it is like a place to visit, when iam in no mood day to cook at home. A quality food that i enjoy. *What Makes It Special?* Despite its low footfall, this place is spotless and full of heart. The owners, a dedicated couple, lead by example, making sure every meal is served with sincerity. The young staff bring an innocent charm--sharing smiles and sneaking glances at their phones when no one's watching. *How I Found It* Thanks to my sister, our family's "Ms. Google Guide," I landed here. A hardcore non-vegetarian, even she couldn't stop raving about the food. Moving to Chikkmagalur from Bangalore, I struggled to find a place that felt just right. As a native, I know that every home here is a mini-restaurant, and every mother is a chef in her own right. Variety isn't a problem--homemade dosas, akki roti, sweets, and snacks are part of daily life. Eating out is rare because home food is a luxury in itself. With tourism on the rise, finding a restaurant that truly satisfies both locals and visitors is a challenge. South Indian Veg Thali & Paneer Tikka--consistently satisfying. Curd Rice--a hidden gem! Roti - which are unique & soft, easily digestible. Non-Vegetarian Section: Decent but not extraordinary. If you have refined taste buds, it might not wow you. *Ambience & Evening Vibes* With ample parking and a relaxed setting, it's a great spot to unwind, even if food isn't your main priority. *Pros & Cons* Pros: Exceptional vegetarian meals--light, fresh, and fulfilling. Consistent service and ambiance. Spacious parking and a peaceful vibe. Cons: Fresh food means a longer wait--order ahead. Idly sambar availability isn't guaranteed. Non-veg dishes are good but not remarkable. *Final Thoughts* If you're in Chikkmagalur, Green Mist isn't just a restaurant--it's an experience. Simple, heartfelt, and worth a visit. Worst ever... ! Don't expect food on time and very lethargic staffs. Bill counter lady was very arrogant and not fit for the job. Staffs don't know what is Hospitality is. Very strong recommendation NOT to visit this place.

Property is more or less decent but service is 3rd grade..there is absolute shortage in staff. The rooms are poorly ventilated especially the washrooms doesn't have proper ventilation. Restaurant services are also very poor. Services are extremely poor as compared to the prices they charge.

Very very poor service. I booked for 2 days 2 rooms on second day when we went for dinner in night these guys closed all the corridor lights and one of my rooms was full of insects. Bathroom connections are not ok

If there was negative stars in google maps this hotel would go to negative 5 stars. Rooms are not neat ,food is worse than trash , we had spoken to the owner himself and he was kind but the workers kept forcing us to take an extra room saying that it would be more comfortable, we said no but did not listen . It is 500 for an extra bed there is a weird rule over here that there can be only 3 people on the bed . The workers are rude even though they understood English they said that he did not understand and they did everything opposite to what we had said. The hotel from outside looks good but from is trash, the bathroom is a zoo for insects it has 20 different species of spiders. Why see a zoo when it is in your bathroom. TV does not work, someone had stolen the set top box. The idli they gave was plastic, no proper food is present. PLEASE DO GO HERE it is for your own good.

Rooms are clean Parking is also available and food is also available in the hotel we got a charged 3k for a suit room for 3 people.

Staff are too arrogant.worst service.they are treating customers as if they are providing free food.
