Rooms are not what they show in pictures. No wifi in rooms gotta come on reception. Nah don't come here

Previously, I stayed here 10 years ago. All changed now. This hotel has not even changed the pillows in the room for the last 2 years it looks like.

It was best back in 2019. Post covid, it's pathetic. The hotel is under renovation for years but that's not mentioned anywhere. All the photos what you find on google was before renovation. Now there is no any facility. No restaurant, no cleanliness. Just don't go by any photos which you see.

A decent hotel. Not worth the money spent. Although it is located in the main city, the maintenance of the hotel is very bad. No TV or WiFi was available. They kept on saying renovation work was going on hence the options were not available but couldn't find anyone working there. The only good thing about the hotel is the location. The room service was also very slow. They also have an attached Chinese restaurant which was good. We had to stay here as most hotels were already booked due to the extended weekend. I won't recommend it.

Terrible experience with dust abd dirty Hotel is in demolish stage

We booked this place as an emergency as an overnight stopover. Photos online seemed ok so we went for it. The hotel is old and has a dated look and feel to it but that's fine. The room we stayed in , the washroom was pathetic and leaking, no hot water as promised as per timings. It was so badly lit and looked unhigenic and dirty that we refrained as far as possible from using the washroom. We were a couple with a baby and were allocated a room next to their kitchen entrance, it was a dingy corner and badly lit corridor passage. Wouldn't recommend for couples or family. The restaurant was fine though food was decent. Would stop here again. Never . Especially not with my kid. We checked in late and checked out early , that sums up everything doesn't it, had it been satisfactory we didn't mind staying longer.

A hotel which is located at the centre of chickmaglur , 250m from ksrtc dipo. 1km from bus stand. The hotel is having a secure and nice parking space for vehicles. Price is cheap ,not very expensive. It feels like hotel is in a vintage style(its an old vintage hotel maintained in a nice manner) we got complimentary breakfast. It was nice. I find the service a little awkward, coz people speak native language more and it was little confusing to communicate. Room was looking neat and clean. But bathroom was moderate. The floor was not soo clean also water stopped during bathing and it took a while to pump water. Also hot water was available btwn 7am-11am n 5pm-8pm . But in our room only hotel water tap was working and we was unable to mix it with cold water. It was a major problem. Also there was a nice lobby which was much fabulous looking.

Manager or the main cook of restaurant is dumb (Read Restaurant section of review for more info) PS: Hotel Manager is very generous to help and sweet worded and knows Marathi very well :) Restaurant: Generally whenever we visit south Indian places, we prefer to eat traditional food only but one day while we decided to have dinner at the restaurant of this hotel, we got worst experience, I work for TEDx Events, so hospitality is important for me. Somehow we placed out order and the waiter somehow ended uped arranging 2 plates instead of arranging 3 on table. We ordered Manchurian as starter and "HOTEL SERVED IS MANCHURIAN WITH LIGHT FLY INSECT DEAD IN IT" on asking waiter to call manager, manager finally arrived and says "Sir, It's an insect!" he even didn't showed courtesy to apologize for this. This restaurant works in certain operating hours only so you will get tea or coffee in those hours only at your room Final Verdict: Don't expect hospitality, good food in this hotel. For good food visit hotels on MG Road Make sure that room windows are closed else mosquitoes will take care of you!
