SPOT ON 38550 Golden Nest Lodge

We went to the hotel last week after seeing vacant room and the nominal price shown in oyo app, the owner was asking for three times the price shown in oyo app. When we said we can book through oyo he plainly said there is no vacant room if booked by oyo app and showed us a guy sitting and waiting saying the poor guy booked through oyo and he made him wait saying no vacant rooms. We had no option but to check in since it was getting late. The room was okish, the bathrooms are cramped, cable tv doesn't work,in one of our rooms the tubelight was not working so my friends had to change the rooms, if you request for hot water at the morning hotel employee will bring it in few minutes. Stayed there a couple of days since we came to to the hotel only at night after ofc work, will not recommended since the hotel is below par in everything and the owner and employees are also not courteous. We wanted to extend our checkout time by 2hrs and offered to pay for the time, the employee at first said that the owner will check the cctv and it will get him in trouble, later when we said that we will call to the owner and speak for ourselves he advised us that the owner will ask for a full days room rent, so we asked him what can we do about our situation. He was asking for one rooms rent as his commission to allow us to extend by 2hrs. The rooms price was already steep so we decided to check out. Limited parking is available in front of the hotel, one can park at the side of the road.

The worst place to stay ever. The management is really good at not doing their job. They are not even connected to oyo and reject bookings that are made through the app stating some silly excuses that does not even concern the guest.

Over all its not upto the standards of oyo while booking it was showing as Air conditioned room by the time when we went over there its just a normal room even its lacking basic amenities hot water was not available they are providing half bucket of hot water staff behavior is very rude its not worth it..

Service was very poor .. Rooms were good but smelly... Bathrooms were all leaky

We chose lodge here for a overnight stay for an early morning trek to Skandagiri. Pretty compact room and standard OYO amenities

Rooms are good but the toilet is not in the good condition. But u can adjust for a day.

Service and hygiene is pathetic, I have booked a room for my Friend and he literally cursed me coz he noticed so much of bugs.
