Thanmaya Homestay

We went for 2 days at this Homestay and our experience was amazing. The Homestay is a 80 year old and situated inside coffee plantation. The view, food, cleanliness was spot on. The hosts are the best. The entire family is very nice and welcoming. It's a best place to relax. Since it's a house and is situated in plantation, expect some insects, not so strong WiFi etc which actually makes it authentic .. and the hosts definitely are always ready to help every time to make your stay happy, safe and comfortable while maintaining the authenticity. The amazing location, campfire, best breakfast, coffee and great hospitality made our stay memorable. We will surely visit again!

Good Place To Stay. Ignore the negative reviews. They have 4 rooms with a double bed. Kettle and water availability is there. Lots of space to park your car and to have a walk in the morning. They also provide a campfire at night. Overall a refreshing experience

The stay is in the middle of a coffee plantation. It is a traditional old house which is clean and maintained. However they have a fridge and water heater which doesn't work. It is just a show piece. No tv provided. The wifi connection drops frequently and power shortage as well. The light provided outside during night is not good. More over many of the windows doesn't close due to poor maintenance of the house. The place is quite near to the sight seeing and approximately 10km away from the city. There is no near by shops to buy food and swiggy is highly priced. The charge for the food provided by them is on the higher side as well. So based on the amenities and facilities provided we would give them only 2/5 rating for the price they have charged from us for 2 night (Rs 12000 for 2 rooms- without any food) Location wise 4/5 rating for the sight seeing in the place Not recommended for family as it doesnt provide basic amenities if you are traveling with parents/kids.

Rustic and subtly aesthetic rooms, comfortable. Food was authentic regional flavoured and well presented. Campfire option, open front yard made the location impressive.

We came across this place while searching for a budget friendly yet comfortable place. Must say, we were pretty surprised at the service provided, the amount charges and the entire stay! Firstly the location is right in the centre of the forest and about 25 min away from the Muliyanagiri peak (don't go by the Google map - it's just 12 kms away). The House gives a nostalgic vibe and is quite spacious and is kept absolutely neat and clean. Nice bedrooms, Toilets & common area. The Bonfire was also included in the amount charged and was well arranged. The best part was the food provided. They were Kind enough to provide us a spread of Veg & Non veg food as we had a vegetarian also along with us. The dinner was quite big .. tasty and authentic!! Loved the dinner and the breakfast!! The owner Shalini ma'am & her husband were courteous, generous & friendly. Super hospitable! I would 100% recommend this place. You will definitely have a good time.. I'd recommend going in as a group as it is a huge place n can easily accommodate 15+ people.

Excellent service and value for Money, Rooms are clean especially toilets are clean and well maintained. Their food quality is excellent for vegetarian. Overall it was a great experience, recommend for family and friends.

The stay was comfortable and pleasant. The homestay is surrounded by tall trees and coffee plantations! The pathway leading to the homestay is stunningly beautiful (images attached). Enjoyed staying there and eating delicious home cooked meal. The hosts were very kind.

Nice place and good place to stay with family. Try to be in this place in day time also so you can enjoy the games and have some fun. If we are just try to sleep and just get up and go in the morning you are not going to enjoy all the facilities. And the tiffin in the morning is quite good and good staff.
