The view and the location is pretty good. Everything else falls short. Stayed for 3 days and the food kept repeating again and again and again !!! Power is an issue as well. Improve the food so that guests can feel good alongside relaxing in nature.

We had an incredible experience at this resort! While the bumpy road leading to it might make you second-guess your decision, all doubts vanish the moment you arrive and take in the breathtaking location. We visited as a group of 40, and I must say, it was a truly memorable trip. The rooms, though part of an older property, are well-maintained and clean. The food was simple but hygienic, and the staff's friendliness stood out. What truly elevates this place is the exceptional service. Managing a large group with numerous requests is no easy task, yet the team handled everything flawlessly and promptly. Special mention to Sharath, the caretaker, who never says no to any request and goes above and beyond to ensure guests are happy. From the receptionist to the chef and helpers, every staff member contributed to making our stay wonderful. Even the owners, who reside near the property entrance, are warm and welcoming. Prabhakar, who took our booking, ensured everything was perfectly organized. This resort is a gem, combining natural beauty with unparalleled service. I can't wait to return and enjoy it all over again!

It's a great place , I was first hesitant looking at negative comments. But , the place is amazing as the name suggests " Vanasthala" . The videos or pictures are not enough to capture the beauty of this place .The owner Mrs Leela was really good , considered our preference since we were traveling with elder people. The cottage was great with bigger rooms , we had a fantastic time staying there. They also gave us a complimentary breakfast and bonfire at night. The property had a creek , estate walk, couldn't explore it fully. Only down side reaching that place was difficult , far from town and the roads weren't proper . Avoid reaching the cottage at night . Manager Mr.Sharath was also good , arranged our food on time . All the staffs were helpful aswell .

Amazing hospitality at the resort. Would rate 10/5 for service and support rendered by resort owners and staffs. Completely child and family friendly. Food served was next level, was hygienic at the same time sumptuous too. All the personal requests were also taken care of on priority.

The place is very beautiful and people will love the location. Staff was very cordial. But unfortunately the rooms are not maintained at all. The rooms stink, health faucets don't work, rooms & bathrooms are not cleaned regularly during the stay, no help to shift the luggage, the wifi and TV didn't work in 4 days of our stay, menu is the same every day except for breakfast. At least 50 caterpillars fell from the false roof and we would find these everywhere inside the room. Kids felt very unsafe. First aid kit should be made available at this homestay. If facilities are improved, people will really enjoy their stay.

Very good and quite place. A nice location overlooking the forest. Come here if you crave peace. The sunset is beautiful.
