Mastiff Select, Bidar

A great experience at Mastiff Select! This was a short weekend getaway, and this place checked all the boxes. Had a luxurious touch at this price point for a small town like Bidar. Comfortable and spacious rooms, which is always a make or break deal for us. Great food and varied selection in their in-house restaurant. We had booked both dinner and breakfast, both top notch. Special call-out for the exceptional service and hospitality. All tourist spots within drivable distance. All in all a great experience, and highly recommended!

Loved the stay, spacious parking, good clean rooms , well furnished. The food is another plus point. Loved all the items. Special mention Chef Mithun for being so authentic with the taste and Biswesar for taking so good care. The restaurant is spacious with a separate bar and poolside seating. However, the pool maintenance is not upto the mark. This is definitely where the hotel authorities need to take special care.

Rooms were clean on time. Service was exceptional especially the prompt response of Mr. Some Das in restaurant service. Would recommend this hotel!

Stayed here from 13th April 2025 till 16th April 2025. Pro: Property is good. Spacious rooms and good room fixtures. Beautiful lobby decoration and pool side Bad: Room view (117) is pathetic. Toiletary was never changed. Room will be cleaned once you ask them. The staircases are dark even in day time. And the most critical is food. Not tasty at all (told chef in person). Almost daily same menu in breakfast (poori sabzi, idli, poha...). They keep a pantha on display (that I came to know at check out) and if guest asks, they will make it fresh. Now how will guest imagine this is parantha on display and he has to order it. Day two: ehen I have taken my breakfast a girl asks if I can have a dosa!?

I visited the Mastiff Select, Bidar for Dinner on 1st May, 2025 at their Barbeque restaurant. The waiters were rude and asked us to vacate before we finished dinner although we paid the bill. Not worth the effort and expense. The waiters have been outsourced from states like W.Bengal and Odisha and therefore do not understand or speak the local language, Kannada. And they get aggressive when we ask them to explain. These people should be thrown out if this place has to run efficiently.
