OYO 39948 Padma Residency

Had booked suite room. Decent room. Linen aren't well maintained though. Only soap provided in bathrooms. Decent service. Location wise, very close to main bus stand. Major plus point is the attached restaurant. Superb taste and service.

Room size is very spacious. Very friendly staff. Bathrooms are clean with 24 hours hot water thru Solar heater. Bathroom fittings can be improved, as they are very old. AC was working effectively. Have to pass thru a narrow street with stench of open drain. Not much parking space with tight space to turn vehicles nearby. Decent food in nearby Padma Restaurant.

I don't leave bad reviews anywhere. Though I had good experience with Padma Residency interns of stay, I want to highlight internal operation mess so that management can take some notice. I had booked 15 rooms for guests. With 100% advance and excess money. I have been notified that there is only one family room available just a day before, though we had left 6 rooms vacant, and we had occupied only small rooms, they have excessively charged for the one more family room and taken me for ride. I could have ignored it. But pathetic communication and no proper commitment interns of what room is given to us. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PADMA RESIDENCY FOR MASS BOOKINGS HERE. I WILL TRY TO AVOID TO STAY HERE IN FUTURE FOR THIS BAD EXPERIENCE. Please take due diligence and do not blindly trust them. They will definitely take you for ride. Hotel wise I would rate 5/5.

They got rooms for all crowds and family sizes, i would say.. 1/2/3/4/5 occupancies with option of extra beds too. Also, rooms were good and well maintained. Very close to the rail head and Bangalore Highway. They got ample space to park cars/two wheelers. The restaurant is little away on the main road however room service can cut that walk for you!

Padma Residency is one of the oldest Hotel in Bhadrawati. It is a good hotel with all the basic facilities at very affordable prices. They have their own bakery and restaurant which gives you all basic south Indian dishes in their menu. Staff is quite friendly and helpful. Best part about the hotel is its location which is near to the Bus stand, Railway station and the market. It's a good pick - go for it.

Nice hotel for stay a day or two. The AC room given was on par with price. Interiors are old but cleanliness is okay. Hot water available on request. Nearby padma restaurant serves good south indian food(priced mid range) you can also get sweet delicacies in padma bakery. Overall a nice stay. Shimoga is 19km from here

Rooms and the amenities in the Residency especially in Elite was very Awesome, felt like I'm staying in a 7 star Hotel even the staff also very generous to Help at any time, Lastly I'm very Happy and Spent a good night stay in Padma Residency Elite. I'm Really Very Glad to share my opinion and Experience in this Residency. Specially Thanks for the Staff and Management.

Me and my wife visited this place on bhadravathi highway in the month of August 2016. We were told this is the best vegeterian option on the highway so we felt we should definately give it a try. To my surprise this darshini kind of place did not disappoint our taste buds even thou it didnt offer any great ambience. Its just like any other Darshini but the taste of food definately proves why its so popular in this region. The price too was kept low to cater to the daily locals of this place.
