Springs Hotel and Spa

We stayed here for 3 weeks and loved it.||We were welcomed at 6AM after a long flight and shown to our room which was one of the "Regency" rooms which is an upgrade from the "Senate". The room itself was large and spotlessly clean. Once we got the hang of the air conditioning it was pleasant and unobtrusive although it was a faff to get it that way. The bathroom was big enough with a walk in shower rather than a bath. The booking site that we used states that the rooms have balconies which is an exaggeration as the balcony is tiny and mostly taken up with the air con heat exchanger which will happily roast you if you stand next to it. The room also features a flat screen TV which we didn't even switch on so don't know what English speaking channels, if any, there are. The internet access in the room was, shall we say, patchy. We used a mobile hotspot instead which worked well. Housekeeping was in the afternoons and was thorough and left new water bottles everyday and toiletries as required.||The staff were all very good and special mentions go to Balu who helped us with everything from cricket tickets to taxis. Ravi who was an excellent barman and again helped us with a lot of things. Mr Das the General Manager was very approachable and keen to help with anything he could. ||Breakfast wasn't included in our room rate (our choice) but I would recommend adding it as it is good value for money and good quality with freshly cooked Dosa's and Omelettes as well as fruit, cereals, toast, juices and other Indian items.||Lunches were served in the restaurant and were of excellent quality and great value for money.||The bar opened at about 6PM and was well run by Ravi. The outside terrace looks over the local neighbourhood. Good choice of cocktails and mocktails along with Kingfisher beer and spirits. Bar meals and full restaurant meals were also available. 2 big screen TVs for watching the cricket were in operation.||We used the spa twice for massages which were very relaxing and again good value for money.||As mentioned earlier the balcony in the room is not really an option but there was a balcony at the end of our corridor which we used for a nightcap which was pleasant enough for two people.||The location of the hotel is not exactly in the most upmarket area of town but we never felt intimidated or threatened in the locale when walking around. If you choose to stay here you will see the real India experience without filters.||Tips:||1. Make friends with the staff they will help you and make your experience better.|2. The hotel has a friendly tuk-tuk driver (Babu) who can make sure you have a great stay and get you where you need to be and back. Make use of him and pay him well - it's worth it.||Local places to visit in walking distance.||1. MTR Mavalli Tiffin Rooms. Make sure you have at least one meal here.|2. Lalbagh Botanical Gardens a little bit away from the hotel but worth the walk.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was large and clean. Well maintained. Usual amenities and toiletries were provided. Bathroom was neat. Room service was prompt. Complimentary buffet breakfast was decent, with mainly South Indian menu and usual Bread, butter and cornflakes on offer. Room service was prompt, food was tasty and moderately priced. The location of the hotel is not that great. The surroundings are really dirty. The lady staff at the check-in counter, though helpful, struggled with English. Had to seek help from senior staff both at the time of check-in and check-out to clarify things. Felt that the pest control could be improved. Saw a couple of baby cockroaches in the room. I had made the booking via MakeMyTrip and had an offer of 15% discount on F&B. However, the staff refused to honour the same citing that it is not applicable for room service items.

We travelled for business purpose. Even though the hotel voucher from corporate portal mentioned complimentary upgrade of room, the hotel authorities denied the same saying they will do it next time we go there. Fridge in the room didn't work so we couldn't cool the water bottles provided. Talk about room service, usually it is so slow that you will prefer to order from other food delivery places. About the service, basic things were denied such as extra glass and a plate/bowl. Only plus point is its proximity to Core areas and Hotel Infrastructure (room size and amenities are decent)

Booked this hotel for few nights with the expectation of a 4 star hotel. The first disappointment was with the cleanliness of the room. It did not live up to it and could see debris on floor. The hotel is located at the busy spot. Ample parking. Had a great city from he terrace. Staffs were friendly. Food was good. Overall it was a decent stay, with few disappointments.

Pros: Good breakfast Large room - Regency Quiet room Good price Working air-conditioner MTR is close by Cons: Located in a dirty, busy area - not very safe in the night & not walkable No grocery store/supermarket close by No gym or spa onsite Body wash is a bar soap No face tissues provided Tiny bathroom, mold in the bathroom Towels not professionally cleaned but cleaned on site Bed rather hard/ uncomfortable It is a no-frills hotel, definitely not luxurious. The staff were courteous but not like what you find in 4 or 5 star hotels. The last 2-3 days of our stay there was loud music from a religious group that went up to 11 pm. It is at best a 2-star hotel - comfortable once you are inside and reasonably priced in its class. Served the purpose for us as we would usually leave the hotel around 10 am and return around 9 or 10 pm.

I stayed in this hotel for about 12 nights on business trip.welcome was smiling.hassel free check in .Rooms were near and clean and specious ,honestly huge rooms.all.moderem amenities in the room eree functional .hotel staff upgraded my economy room to delux room .Thank you for the upgrade.|The bar ambitious was very good open air on roof top with big screen TV and projector .|Nice swiming pool and Spa|Enjoyed yah.

Smelly room and overlooking the slum like neighborhood through the huge glass window. The staff at reception is also laidback with not much energy. There are no good restaurants for even snacks and coffee in the neighborhood. So you are stuck with their deserted dinning restaurant. The only thing worth doing in the location is to visit the Lalbagh garden. The hotel is good for traders who visit the automobile market around this place, not for family at all. Best avoided for family.

Unsanitary bathrooms with bug infestation. One of our rooms smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Staff was rude and did not acknowledge us at the front desk. Our family requested 2 rooms on the same floor, 2 months in advance, which was ignored by the staff. Hotel name is falsely advertised as a "spa" hotel when in reality all they have is a pool. Located in a terrible and dirty part of Bangalore. Only decent thing they have is the restaurant inside. WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND STAYING HERE IF YOU HAVE STANDARDS.
