La Marvella - Bengaluru

I stay here when go on work or to visit family, I have stayed at this hotel several times now. The service is consistently good, the staff genuinely cares about your comfort and have seen them go over and beyond when you need something. Rooms are well appointed and clean, food is pretty good too. Location is very convenient if you are south Bangalore, Metro is walking distance. Room service is consistent and the manager, Guru Murthy is persistent in following up and making sure you are having a comfortable stay.

Finally I found a business hotel in Bengaluru 1km from our office and with the best services and food. I was amazed the simplicity of the place, the top end service and great food all at one place. I got a late checkout for my Long stay and you can say it's real value for money. Rooms are good size with all you need inside including a press kit and hair dryer. I did not have to ask for anything. The housekeeping even came in to ask if I had any laundry. Keep it up guys and Gals.

La Marvella is a class above. I would compare it almost on the class of Ritz Carlton. We will definitely come back! That said, here are some pros and cons from our stay to help contribute to the continued improvement of the hotel. Requests for improvement: Offer a salad with spinach leaf base and olive oil on the side with lemon in the style of an "American salad". The 6th floor should have ceiling fans or AC for both guests and workers' comfort. It is very hot and stagnant. The rowing machine is broken and cannot be used. Bartending staff need to keep an eye on quality control: substituting limoncello for vermouth in a cocktail changes the taste entirely, fruit in sangria should be cut large so it doesn't pose a choking hazard, mint should be muddled whole leaves not shredded for the same reason, wine should be stored in a temp controlled environment and once opened, bottle discarded in a week if unused. Environmental factors oxidize wine and change the taste from mellow to tannic. Please include notes in the menu on what veg items are vegan or could be made vegan. Some veg items were marked non-veg in the room menus (red icon instead of green misprinted). Room air quality is not good, recommend AC filter change Amazing things: Soy milk availability is awesome, thank you!!! Staff service is above and beyond and bathroom fixtures are kept in great maintenance and working condition. Karthik in particular was incredibly attentive and helpful. Beds are amazing, better than Hilton. Vegan and cruelty free bath soaps, lotion, and conditioner are in the rooms. What a wonderful eco and animal friendly thing. Amazing quality hair conditioner! Soft and plentiful toilet paper! Daily newspaper! Driver to/from airport was very professional and safe. Spa staff were kind, friendly, and very competent.

Had a bad experience when we had gone in for a group dinner. Had to ask for same item multiple times, they would randomly cancel the orders, saying they thought it wasn't needed. Kids & elders were kept waiting due to their slowness. The taste wasn't great either. And when the slow & missed service was mentioned, the captains challenged it rather than sorting it. I genuinely hope that they improve service for all liking & take feedback positively.

I had some meetings in the area of VK Hills and received a suggestion from a colleague to stay at La Marvella. What a comfortable hotel! The rooms and bathroom were generously sized, and the decor inside the hotel gave luxury clubhouse vibes. Room service was tasty and my very early wake up call was perfectly on time :)

Nice big rooms...with all the necessary 4 star stuff! The only catch is some of the rooms especially on the lower floors might not have any view! No other decent hotel in the vicinity makes it a good proposition! A pretty decent breakfast buffet

Just the right place to stay whilst in Bangalore. Close to most places including the new metro. Clean and comfortable with helpful staff and tasty fresh south Indian style breakfast. Have stayed here multiple times and highly recommended.

Our stay at La Marvella was amazing. I want to specifically thank Chiranjit and Guru Murthy of the housekeeping staff for helping us with every need. Sanath from reception was also very helpful and booked taxi for us when we did not have the ability to do so. The restaurants are both fantastic with a wide variety of options at each. The service was fantastic. We will be back very soon to La Marvella.
