Hotel Ambara Mint

Guess most reviews are not genuine. A terrible place with bad smell and dysfunctional bathroom.

I stayed there for a good 8 days, and I loved it. Sheets were a little dirty, but manageable, they changed when I asked them to. room was perfect, functional ac, hot water, it had a balcony which I loved. Area is a little lonely, so you might want to have someone with you, staying alone and walking alone is risky, not many shops around, you would have to go to the main road, which is not so far away, but if you're looking for a getaway from the city, quiet and good place to stay, this is the place to be. ATM right outside the hotel. Provided breakfast, but it was chargable, good breakfast though. Hotel room is a little pricey, so you might wanna book it earlier Overall, my stay there was memorable. :) Will definitely go back.

One of the worst hotels in terms of guest bookings. I had booked for my guests on 26th April and when my guests arrived at hotel premises on 27th, they said rooms are full and booked. Alrhough room booking was confirmed from Oyo. Never believe in Oyo as well as this hotel if you are pre booking. Hotel owner also does not have courtesy. Oyo customer care also didn't take any action saying we will look another property for you as room is full. When you have confirmed your stay then please maintain your promise. Top of that Oyo says 100% controlled by themselves where in its hotel owner who decides when room should be full or empty. Really a bad experience. Suggest not to go with this hotel. Thanks!

Worst experience! Broken toilets, no locks, nasty sheets, bad WiFi, and bad voltage problems. You pay for A.C, but you won't get the voltage to use an A.C most of the time here. The receptionist has no knowledge about their own tariffs. I booked it for 2 days, and during checkout I was asked to pay an extra days amount after all their bad services for being 1 hour late beyond the grave period. Arguments with the receptionist led to calling her senior - after which she asked me to pay 30%. "I asked 30% of what amount?" and she said "no amount just pay30%" like a very stupid person. She said 30% is 400 - but refused to provide information of how it was calculated! I called her boss and asked, he said 30% of their daily tariff. I paid 500 Rs per day to stay there and somehow they kept telling me that 30% is 400 which then came down to 300! Had a very bad experience, please don't ever go to this oyo!

No option to give zero star. I came here on today by already booking it in OYO. I have also payed the amount. After reaching here from my home (450km away), the reception says that they are not accepting OYO bookings. I have talked with 'the respected' manager and he is saying that it's not his matter that his hotel displayed in OYO and I booked by paying the amount. I have booked an ac 2x room by paying around 840/-. And here they are saying that I have to cancel and rebook the room by paying 1500 rupees. I am not doing that. This is ridiculous. Why I can't get a room that I already payed?. If they are not accepting OYO, then why the hell it is displayed in OYO site?. I came here for a 2 day conference and this has happened.

It is a very good option for short stay at a very affordable price. Room was neat and comfortable. Good toiletries and swift housekeeping staff. Considering that it is in a very prime location, this hotel become one of the best options. Although the outside appearance of the hotel is extraordinary, the services are extremely good

Though the rooms are compact, the smoke smell is spread throughout the entire building. They displayed "no smoking" boards everywhere. But no use. Great place for bachelors and smokers, but not for the family.

Place is not good for staying. Rooms aren't having proper cleaning before check in and TV are not working in many rooms. Hot water comes after you keep water tap open for about 20 minutes. Walls are in bad condition due to moisture. Bedsheets and towel looks dirty. The only thing you can enjoy is WiFi and balcony. Though this place needs renovation and propper maintenance. The hotel name is Ample mint not Ambara mint pls check.
