Hotel Mayura Velapuri Belur

Food and location is too good.. Just 500mitre distance from main Channkedhava temple, Under restaurant there are Bar, Food and breakfast facilities available. Not that much rushed. So you can enjoy dinner happily. Also rooms and stay is very good.

This a KSTDC property and only decent place in Belur for staying. We stayed here for 2 nights from 1/12/24 to 3/12/24 in their Suite room. The Suite was well appointed. Living room had a sofa seating arrangement with 2 single seat sofa and 1 three seater sofa with a decent center table. Two single beds were also there in the living room. Bedroom had a large King bed with attached toilet. Room and toilet was clean. Linens and towels are clean way beyond expectations considering this being a Govt. Property. In house restaurant Atithi was Good with decent food quality and very reasonable pricing.|Overall a good place to stay in Belur|

We stopped in for lunch having spent a couple of hours at the Chennakeshava Temple Complex. It was perfect - a clean, welcoming space with excellent staff with a great washroom. Big shout out to Mr Venkoba who talked us into trying some delicious food.

Very well maintained rooms. The food is also very good, although a little expensive. Staff are friendly, you can park your car also here. There is hot water available through geyser and shower

Room was pretty big, but it's right in center of city/Town which sometimes makes feel good and other way around Door knobs are very tight, there are chances of fingers getting damaged if proper caution not taken while opening doors But overall ok for 1 day and 1 night halt for rest and drive next day. We did not take food much here as we had lot of street dishes on highway/hill sections.

Review of KSTDC Hotel Mayura Velapuri, Belur We recently stayed at KSTDC Hotel Mayura Velapuri in Belur. While the building and rooms appear to have been renovated recently, the overall experience was decent. I would rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars. What was good? - The WiFi had decent speed, which was a pleasant surprise. - The room size was spacious, easily accommodating three people. - There was enough furniture, and the TV, though a bit outdated, was in working condition. - The bed was comfortable, and both the fan and lights worked well. - The bathroom was clean, and the geyser functioned properly. Areas for improvement: - Iron was not available in the room, which could be a helpful addition. - The biggest issue we faced was the presence of cockroaches. While it could have been due to pest control treatment in the neighboring rooms, we encountered three to four cockroaches within the first five minutes of entering the room. Though this was a bit off-putting, it is a manageable issue that can be addressed. Overall, the hotel is a decent option for those visiting Belur, and the cockroach issue can easily be resolved. This shouldn't deter anyone from making a reservation. The hotel is within walking distance to the temple, so go for it.

The property is walking distance from the famous Belur temples and in the town.What surprised me was the quality of service from a government run organisation.Special mention for Mr Babu rao,Mr Shreyas, Suresh and Deepak. Rooms are decent and good value for money and so also is the food.There are food options nearby too which we did not try. Strongly recommend to book their top priced rooms as they are away from the sounds of the road.
