Hotel Mayura Yagachi

Rating: (2/5) Pros: * Conveniently located on the main highway, making it easily accessible for travelers. * The hotel is situated right in front of the scenic Yagachi Dam, which offers a nice view and peaceful surroundings. * It has a large property with plenty of open space. * The in-house restaurant is quite good, with a decent selection of food. Cons: * The rooms are poorly maintained and in need of serious upkeep. * A damp, musty smell hangs in the rooms, which makes the stay uncomfortable. * There was no electric kettle provided. * Cleanliness is a major issue -- rooms were very dirty. * Bed linens, pillows, and blankets were extremely unclean and appeared to have been used without washing. * No towels were provided. * Faced water supply problems during the stay and had to call the service desk for assistance. * The overall stay felt overpriced given the basic condition of the room and lack of proper amenities. Conclusion: While the location next to Yagachi Dam and the decent restaurant are definite plus points, the poor condition of the rooms and lack of basic hygiene make it hard to recommend. Needs significant improvement to justify the price.

Avoid staying here, stay if u have no option. Stayed here for a day. Small rooms, not suitable for couple with a kid. We took an extra bed for an additional payment. However, it was of v poor quality. Ended up not using it. Hot water tap was not working, we got no resolution for this. Maybe typical govt facility. Food is priced high but quality is average.

Loved the place throughout my stay ...the staff will make you feel super comfortable...food will be served as per your requirement and fully customisable. We felt at home. Comfort and memorable stay. The manager himself extends his hand in the service - nice personality.

Zero food quality. Taking order takes takes, atleast we expect someone to collect bill. But none responds. Room service is very bad! Nobody answers when questions are asked about issues. Has to improve alot!

I had been to their restaurant, very friendly manager papanna, even though we were late for lunch time they served us with great food. As we were a group of 12 with varied preferences everything was catered so good They provide both veg and non veg dishes, and make sure veg is prepared separately This helped me as a vegetarian myself

I stayed 2 nights and I will say this is a good hotel. Google search show it as 5 star hotel but its not a 5 star. First look and it tells me its a typical government (state govt) facility which is bit neglected by the tourism department and needs lot of maintenance. The staff at this hotel is very polite and friendly. The food preparation is also good. I am rating this facility at 4 only because of the good team there, else I would have rated this just 2. The team is doing their best to provide wonderful experience to customers and thats the highlight

The staff were extremely courteous. They woke up at 2 am to allow us to check in to the property. Property manager Mr Pappanna was very helpful, along with the security person at the hotel. However, the first room they showed to us literally had fungus growing on the pillows!!! The sheets were extremely dirty as well. The second room too, was bad. We laid out our personal towels and slept on the bed. It is poorly maintained probably because of governments apathy. Would never recommend anyone to stay at this property. We complained to the property manager and he mentioned that he has been writing to officials higher up, for support with clean bedding among other things. But there is no response from the government. Hope this message reaches someone important in the government and they do justice for the nice property there is.

Need to maintain cleanliness. Big area nice behaviour. Beds are very weak. Made of partical board.
