Hotel Sanman Classic

Wonderful experience at Sanman Classic Hotel in the heart of Belgaum! The hotel's cleanliness, from crisp linen to spotless rooms and bathrooms, exceeded our expectations. The staff and owner were incredibly supportive and welcoming. We've been loyal guests for nearly two decades, and it's heartening to see the same love and hospitality that makes us feel right at home. Thank you, Sanman Classic team, for your consistent excellence.

I would mention few pros and cons hope the owners takes it up sportingly. Unlike my earlier honest review on Airbnb the owner started crying foul play. Pros. The hotel is situated in the main city. So accessiblity to local stuff travel etc is easy. Few food joints in close proximity. There is a decent hotel with lodging facility available just next to this lodge. Which serves good food named sanman delux. There is a petrol pump in the next premises. The washrooms are clean as it seems they have renovated the place. Rooms are spacious. Rooms were fully vacant so i feel the Availability should always be there. The rooms despite old are kept clean. Bed sheets seemed little old but clean and washed well. Cons. The fuel station next to the premises makes it little noisy. You cannot open the window because of mosquitoes. Plus the fuel station noise. Hot water works on solar i believe so is not available somtyms. The hotel is highly over priced for the type of hotel it is. There are few better lodging and boardings near by. Who are much more modern and priced as per actual markets. There is Sanman delux just next to sanman classic which is priced lower and looks much better. No food is available u need to buy from outside. They dont have a dinning area they expect the guest to clean the hotel after eating food. Even though i kept the food back neatly in the zomato bags. Its a hard regular old style bed. The parking seems to be limited. My car got a mark overnight after parking in the premises. Overall i would say there are alot good hotel lodgings within 1kms of this place. Which are more modern and reasonable priced as compared to them. If you still want to stay here and want to bargain they dont go as per their reception if they say the rooms are full. Reason being wen i stayed here the entire hotel was empty. So they just say its full so no one can bargain. Be careful about parking your car here. They are cut to cut on the parking. They have also put them self on airbnb for some additional marketing.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, showcasing the hotel's commitment to hygiene. The staff was friendly, the owner is truly a gentleman and mostly allows only family to stay in the hotel. If you're looking for an affordable option without compromising on cleanliness and comfort, this hotel is a fantastic choice. I would definitely recommend it for anyone traveling on a budget.

I visited this hotel after 7 years and was pleasantly surprised with it's new renovated look. Immaculately clean just like before and updated with modern finishes. Tucked away from the Main Street, it's a pleasant stay surrounded by greenery. I Highly recommend this boutique budget hotel in city center.

Positive : Decent hotel for its price. Even though, they say it's no frills hotel, it still has TV, phone in the room, hot water, soap in the bathroom and Tea can be served in the room. Cooperative and extremely polite staff, clean rooms, clean linens, towel etc. Enough parking space for cars. It has restaurant at the ground floor for lunch and dinner only, no breakfast. Less positive : Bathrooms are stained heavily and could have been more clean. Found mosquito trouble here. They do provide mosquito repellent like Good Night or such stuff but still, one or two keep troubling whole night. Point to be noted, they don't have generator back up at night. It's available only during the day, as per their policy. Hence, if power goes off at night, assume it's end of your night. Considering hot climate these days everywhere almost throughout the year and that most travellers come to hotel only for having peaceful night after doing their work whole day outside, they should have provided at least fan to be on the power back up at night as expectation is to sleep peacefully after tiring day. Fan is not a frill but necessity, given the hot weather in India. It's only for this reason, I will need to rethink if I will really choose this hotel next time. (It's 3am, no power. Writing this review since I am awake as it's very hot without fan. Finally power came around 4:30AM) Overall good hotel and rating 3 stars because of mosquito trouble and no power back up.

Very basic, affordable hotel. Visited again after years. Happy to experience the same friendly and warm staff. Rooms spacious and adequately clean. Excellent for budget travellers. Only disadvantage is no hot water available in the evenings/nights and one has to wait till morning for a good hot shower....

Hotel is very good.since they have renovated now its a nice place in the budget.however there is no restaurant but the central location of the hotels resolves that problem too.rooms are very spacious,and clean.

I have stayed at this place most of the times whenever I have visited Belgaum for shopping during any occasions. This is a basic budget hotel with limited room service but is Ok for short stay when you are expected to stay out of the room for the whole day. The rooms are kept well clean but have old look. Veg restaurant is located in Sanman deluxe while non veg restaurant is located at the ground floor of Sanman classic. The room charges are very reasonable.
