Hotel Rakshit International

Four of us went early in the morning around 7AM asking for a room for the same day with the plan of checking out in the evening. We were told there were no Non-AC rooms available so we booked an AC room. But from what we saw most of the rooms seemed empty. Initially the receptionist was hesitant to accommodate 4 girls in one room but eventually he agreed for an extra cost since we only needed the room to get ready for a wedding. The bellboy was helpful and was at our service. The room per se was very shabby. Too much dirt under the bed. Broken AC. Bathroom was decent. Dirty curtains. Faulty switches. Since we did not have to use the bed for sleeping we were okay with the room. We were charged a little under 3K for a few hours (12 hours - 7AM to 7PM). Overall I would not recommend the room if you plan on staying for long.

Yesterday we booked this hotel for 1 day, First thing they don't receive the call if u call on map provided no. The service is very very bad , We asked for a water bottle 3 Times but they even don't provided that, Even at the time of check-out they try to overcharge, exact twice the bill amount and said machine is not on so please pay cash if possible. After arguing the things were cleared, but still paid extra for room current bill, no hotel charges electricity bill Rooms not up to the mark for 1700rs non AC u can better deals easily in Belgaum.

Last week when traveling to Kolhapur from Bangalore, we stayed in this hotel for a night. Hotel is located in a busy place. Has plenty of food joints close by. Rooms are okay. Staff members are very helpful. I need to mention about my one experience here. While checking out I forgot my backpack in the lobby. This I realised only after reaching Kolhapur. The bag had all original ID proofs of all family members. Also I had ok kept other important documents in the bag. Panicked,I called the hotel & explained my situation to Mr. Desai. After listening he told me that the bag is safe in their custody & will be sent to me by courier. Mr. Ravindra went out of the way to ensure the bag is neatly packed & sent to my Bangalore house address by courier. After 4 days I got the bag back intact. I would like thank all the team members of the hotel. My special thanks to Ms. Radha madam, who kept the bag in safe custody, Mr Ravindra & Mr.Desai.

No clean washrooms there are cockroaches in the rooms

Great place for the budget! Reception lady Ms.Radha was really helpful. My respects and regards to her! Breakfast was good.

This hotel was the worst I've ever stayed in. I had made a reservation for two rooms for a two-day stay, but the rooms were incredibly dirty. The walls were damp with water stains, and the bedsheets were old and torn. To make matters worse, there was a foul smell emanating from the doors and windows of the room. Looking at the condition of the bedsheet I don't think they wash the bedsets after every check-outs. Ants were there on each corner of the windows. The presence of numerous mosquitoes made it nearly impossible for us to get any sleep. Additionally, the rooms were too small for two people, creating a congested and uncomfortable environment. Changing clothes was a challenge due to the lack of space, and the mirrors and toilets were also dirty. I had made my reservation through MMK, which stated that early check-in was possible depending on room availability. However, when we arrived at the hotel in the morning to check-in, the staff informed us that the rooms would not be available until 12pm. They even demanded extra money for an early check-in, which was disappointing. Normally, hotels offer flexibility with check-in and check-out times, but the staff here were uncooperative. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. I would not recommend it to even 0.1% of potential guests

A very good place specially for an overnight halt when travelling to Bangalore via Belgaum. Easy to reach from the highway. Spacious rooms and a courteous staff. In room dining options are available and they also have a bar and a restaurant which are open till mid night. Starting from here before 7 in the morning might not be possible since you can get tea or coffee only after 6:30 AM. But overall a really good experience.
