Soans Island

Staying at this island home was a delight! The breathtaking scenery, lush greenery, and serene river view offered a tranquil escape. The delicious food and warm hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. The friendly dogs added a charming touch, and the expansive play area, perfect for kids, ensured endless fun. The assistance provided by the boat guy was invaluable, making exploring the surroundings a breeze. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat amidst nature's beauty.

I visited with a few friends recently, and i couldn't complain about anything. I stayed in the water cottage, and the views from the cottage were mind blowing. A cool breeze in your hair along with enjoying the constant movement of the water. Nothing can get better than that. The rooms were also extremely comfortable and very homely. ||||The food was really good, and have quite a few options for veg and non veg. ||||The area was also really peaceful and quiet. One of the best places for meditation. ||To top it off they have 2 really friendly dogs Comet and Shadow. ||||Well, i would definitely come back there for a visit sometime with my family just for them to see the place and enjoy the hospitality! XD

I went to stay at the water cottage with my friends on 2nd and 3rd October. The suite was comfortable and the food was very tasty. The view from the water cottage was so beautiful. We sat there for most of the stay. It was relaxing. It was fun to see tiny birds all around. The place was so calm. It's a good place to visit in nature's lap, leaving behind a city where you wake up to traffic sounds everyday.

Such beautiful and peaceful island! It's an private island and took just 15min to reach the place from Kundapura railway station. I am so glad we found this place. We were group of three gals and this felt the safest place. The property is maintained really well and doesn't look commercial at all which adds more beauty to the place. It was perfect weekend escape for all of us. Caretaker are lovely and they provide home cooked food. Every corner of this place has beautiful views. We had an chance to talk to the owner of the property and such an amazing person he is. I would recommend this place to anyone who plans for peaceful getaway.

It's a quaint and intimate place for a holiday. It's easy to see the love and effort that has gone I tastefully setting up and maintaining the place. The owner is easy to communicate with and booking was a breeze. The staff on the island are warm yet non intrusive, and they love to feed the guests which is evident in the great meals that were dished out over the couple of days we stayed. We had a holiday to remember, would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

Best stay in Soans island . We came with whole family we loved the serene , calm atmosphere of the island . When you have busy life this is best place to relax and unwind for few days . Loved the yummy food cooked by the staff. We got best guide for exploring whole island Comet the dog Boat rides are fun especially during sun rise and sun set . We get to see various types of birds and enjoy the nature . Owner is very polite and friendly . If time permits you can visit hattiangadi temple 20mins from the new bridge .

Worth experiencing island stay by the river! Host and caretakers took very good care. Also there are 2 friendly dogs. Food is fantastic. you can sit for hours just watching the river, could see different bird species..spotted atleast 5 to 6 varieties of birds as ours was only a night stay. Airtel network signal is good in terms of calling..internet signal is bit weak..like hardly 2 sticks..stay was very comfortable. Rooms are clean and neatly done. There is a bath tub too

One of the best Island resort in Karnataka! Serene, beautiful, amazing are just adjectives to this place. You will only hear birds chirping and nothing else. Watch the river flow or standstill. Spot a number of birds including Peacocks. Just sit back, relax and unwind and find yourself. Apart from the river view and finding solitude, there is nothing much to do here, do not expect much. Don't miss the sunrise and sunset. Pure South Indian food, tasty and sufficient for all. Slightly costlier for the amenities provided. Worth visiting once in your lifetime.
