Golden Chariot Resort Hampi

. Great location, but room service and infrastructure are major letdowns. Orders take an hour+ to arrive, and gas shortages often mean no food at all. Frequent power outages with no backup are frustrating. Staff is friendly and willing, but poor management holds them back. With some improvements, this hotel could live up to its promising location. However, the price they charge feels extortionate given the subpar facilities and services. Definitely not value for money.

My stay at the Golden Chariot Resort in Hampi was nothing short of magical! Nestled amidst the stunning landscapes and rich history of Hampi, this resort offers a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The rooms are spacious, elegantly designed, and equipped with modern amenities. I particularly loved the private balcony overlooking the picturesque scenery. The attention to detail in the decor adds a touch of opulence. My experience at the Golden Chariot Resort was delightful. It's the perfect place for anyone looking to relax and immerse themselves in the beauty and history of Hampi. I can't wait to visit again!

Suhas and his team went well out of their way to make our stay memorable. Pleasant bamboo huts arranged around a central area with a fire pit, in a stunning environment. The water in the rice paddies and the rocky hills around make for awesome sunsets from the restaurant. Peaceful setting to relax. And oh, I shouldn't forget to mention the delicious food. Great vibes all around! Recently opened, definitely a valuable acquisition for "Hippie Village".

Rooms are spacious and looks different than normal bamboo huts. Loved the food and vibes. Staff is friendly and responsive. Complementary breakfast is good. There is no buffet but they can prepare on need basis based on availability .. We requested puri and sagu which was delicious

I recently had the misfortune of staying at Golden Chariot Resort, Hampi, and I must say, it was a thoroughly underwhelming experience. Despite the picturesque location and promising website photos, the resort fell woefully short in providing basic amenities. Firstly, the geyser in our room was faulty and leaking, leaving us to take cold showers throughout our stay. Furthermore, the room lacked a basic almirah (closet) to store our clothes and belongings. This was a major inconvenience, forcing us to live out of our suitcases for the duration of our stay. Other basic shortcomings included: - No towels or toiletries provided. Provided only when it was asked for. - The resort's insufficient sewage infrastructure caused a foul odor to permeate the area - no water kettle inside the room which is kind of necessary during the winters - no AC/heater inside the room The staff were exceptionally supportive and made efforts to compensate for all the ahortcomings. Stay at Golden Chariot was a disappointment, and I would not recommend it to anyone. For the prices they charge, one expects a certain level of comfort and service, which this resort sadly fails to provide.

This place is horrible. They promised AC room on Agoda, but when we reached there, there was no AC in their hut. Also, there was no power. We waited for half an hour and then had to leave because there was no power in their rooms. The staff there was happy that we are leaving, probably because they don't want to run the generator just for us because there were no other guests that day. Horrible place. I would not suggest anybody to book room here. Stay away from this.

Beutiful resorts in North humpi. One side rocks and other side rice plants. Good vibes, near to nature , very calm and peaceful resort. All the staff is very good in nature and polite and serve good food.
