The Last Resort

This resort is good. Not clean, but little neat. The rooms are big but old. Bedding is ok, but chairs are sofa are torn out. The cook and good is ok. Fixed menu. Several groups can enjoy their separate night camp fire. Sufficient parking is available. They charge 1750 per person including bf, lunch and dinner. Lot of play area, but nothing is clean. Swimming fool is good.

We had once visited the resort 6 years ago, and had a very good experience. So we decided to visit again in the summer of 2025. The resort is in itself still beautiful but we had the absolute worst possible experience!!! First of all, the rooms were very unhygienic, the bedspreads and pillow cases were dirty and the bathroom was not at all cleaned because of which I and my 8 year old caught a uti. Intermittent power cuts through out the day. Not to mention, the food was inedible and the lady in charge was even reluctant to serve us the bare minimum portions. Last time we visited, food was great, good portions, coffee was sent in flasks to room in the mornings and evenings. This time there was no coffee till 9 am. There would be no staff to enquire. The meals were served very late and food quality was very very bad. This is an honest and unbiased review. So think twice as this should literally be your "last resort". P. S the lady in charge of meals was especially inhospitable and unpleasant to deal with.

This was really beyond my expectations. We went with family and friends and had really good time. Resort is full of greenery and provide decent veg and non-veg food option three times (Breakfast, lunch, dinner), which I have found very rare. Hospitality was really good and we enjoyed bone fire every night.

We went in December last week 2024. We were in individual hut house . Appreciate the cleanliness and hygiene maintained in room and resort . Food served three times were just amazing and felt like home . Staff remained cool and calm althrough the stay . Appreciate their service .Its very near to Kalathi falls and kemmangundi. % peace guaranteed.

If you love nature , if you want be in the lap of nature and feel the essence of natural climate then this is the exact place to be. You actually interact with beauty of nature in all respect whether it be plants or birds with chirping sound it takes your day with lovely experience. Service from people here is also very responsible and punctual in there to serve you the best experience. So overall it's a wonderfull place to be when you are planning to be in lap of nature with your lovely family and friends.

Breakfast lunch dinner was good... No electricity from 6am to 6pm.. after requesting many times, generator was switched ON.

Worst experiance ever... Please don't visit this place if you are a family, this is good for a group of bachelor friends .. food was worst (chicken was not cooked properly n it was stinking )and they were not aware our arrival even after booking in prior .. they charge per head 1750 which is too much for the room and the food they serve .. we dint wanted breakfast since we had plans of leaving early morning but still the price was not reduced .. very disappointing stay and we were just waiting for the check-out

Rooms are fine. No electricity post 6 am, before 6 pm, very irritating. Food is one thing which is appreciable. No service , 12 kms from kemmangundi and reaching via arisikere if travelling from Bangalore. Little costly. There are other options and one can reach ballavara cross and search for homestays. Another appreciable thing is 24hrs checkout on weekdays.
