Praveer Palace (Hotel Blue Rays)

Booked hotel by an mobile application. We contacted the hotel while en route to the hotel. But the hotel informed they have already cancelled the booking and the hotel in charge was very rude. They were asking to contact the booking platform. The booking platform didn't notify us regarding the cancellation and also they responded even they were not aware of the cancellation. Advice is contact prior travelling to hotel as they might cancel and for a family it was really tough to find rooms again in short notice. Booking platform tried to arrange alternate hotels but said they were not able to book and replied will provide refund of the full amount. They also said they will provide extra more upto 5k for the room we book. Also i think their should be customer friendly persons not the one who will rudely disconnects phone. They never called me in first place and also they didn't inform the online platform too. If they have informed in first hand i wouldn't give them 1 star.( Honestly 0 stars option is not available) Their actions gave me a hard time to find suitable stay for family in the last minute.

Don't go to this lodge.They are cheating.i was not aware that this hotel is 27 kms from Mookambika temple and their staff also did not tell.I sent Rs 500 as advance as requested by them.Immediately within minutes I cancelled my booking.They promised to refund my advance in 3 days they never refunded.Be careful my tourist friends.

Hotel is looking like a 3 Star. Ambience is great ! Work table , Lengthy spacious room with Full Ventilation. We took 2+1 and it costed just 2000 with AC , WiFi Lift and Resturant also available with affordable price. Hotel management is very Good we had a Late Checkout for 3 hours they didn't charge us extra. Budget Friendly and Top class Hotel for stay 10/10

TV not operational due to recharge... Wifi had NO Internet due to recharge... Jet Spray was broken in the washroom and can't be fixed. Bed and pillows were so dirty...... Horrible stay....

Hotel owner (person on reception) is not responsive and is very rude. Rooms looked shady and had bad smell. Firstly I tried to book it online which was available for 1400 and owner had not approved my online booking through airbnb. When I arrived at the place he said room is for 1800 "Lena hai to lo"(take it or leave). Anyhow we had to stay there because we needed place to stay for night. As we were travelling long journey we needed place to rest at night to continue our drive early morning. There were few insects in the room and it was smelling bad. On complaining about it he said "aap kahi aur chale jao baad me mujhe chikchik nahi chahiye" ( go stay somewhere else I don't want any problems later) To such behaviour we had to leave the place and look for another stay. It was an aweful experience I would never recommend this place.

Clean & spacious rooms. Employees were good, they were only fluent in kannada and Hindi. But I am able to communicate with them by my below average English skills. 2 days before the journey they asked 1000 rupees as advance and I paid it,then rest of the amount had paid at the hotel. Our group has majority of ladies, so I was worried about the BAR operating in the ground floor. But we didn't face any difficulty of that. I have seen people complaining about the distance between hotel and Mookambika temple. Yes there is 30 KM distance but in my view if you are travelling as a big group (mine was 13 people group) choose this hotel, then You will definitely save 5000/6000 rupees comparing to booking room near the Mookambika temple. You will also get clean and neat room comparing to rooms at Mookambika temple. Just plan your trip like this kerala->udupi->murudeshwar->baindur-> check in hotel afternoon -> visit Mookambika temple in the evening -> return to hotel -> sleep -> check out room at 5:30 AM & go to kudajadri hiking -> return to kerala
