THE HERITAGE RESORT, BADAMI

Nice hotel tucked away on a busy road. When you arrive you think you are at a garden shop! The rooms are down the back and well equipped, I'd say 3 star . The pool is lovely and so are the gardens. Food also really great, cooked fresh and vegetarian. Very good value. Cheeky monkeys in the garden too. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at The Heritage Resort, Badami! Although our check-in experience was a bit bumpy, the staff's warm and helpful attitude more than made up for it. The resort itself is beautiful and very well maintained -- a serene and refreshing place to relax. The food was great too -- while the a la carte options were decent, the unlimited lunch was definitely the highlight! A big shoutout to Mr. Nageshwar for going above and beyond by dropping us to the railway station in his own car when we couldn't find an auto. Also, heartfelt thanks to Ms. Vijayalakshmi for helping us locate a mobile phone we had misplaced. Truly appreciate the hospitality and would definitely recommend this place to others!

we stayed for 2 days, very good location, its a very good vegitarian restaurant. Although the staff are very local and the language is a problem, their helpful attitude is very commendable.The rooms are very large and of good quality There are many monkeys around the resort. we can watch varity of birds like indian gray hornbills, indian parakeet, etc

Really small hotel. Totally vegetarian. They do not serve even eggs. Lunch and dinner are passable. Breakfast has limited choice, but hot and good. Their cottages are really spacious and good. Rooms in building are not as good.||People there are smiling and very helpful. Special mention of Vijayalaxmi, Prabhakar, Shekhar, Senapati and Reshma.||Always ready to help customers with smile.

A small world in itself, nicely made with a lovely swimming pool. Staff was mostly very friendly. We could also stay the day after checkout. Food could have been great, but the buffet was served lukewarm, even though we were the first ones to start eating. Quality was good though.

We returned to Delhi yesterday after a memorable three days in Badami, Karnataka. Our choice of hotel,|Badami Heritage Resort, certainly lived up to our expectations. This well located property has comfortable rooms, meals with local flavours, and we were very impressed by the cooperative, efficient and pleasant staff who were always ready to go that extra mile. Our stay at the Badami Heritage Resort certainly added to our overall Badami experience.

It is a good, decent hotel, but it has very unprofessional service, as they have hired local uneducated people. The hotel charges a slightly higher rate during the off-season. Upon entering the room, we discovered there was no water, necessitating a 30-minute search for the AC remote. Food was okay, not great.

The location is convenient, very close to the Badami Caves, and the room we stayed in was neat and tidy. However, our overall experience was disappointing. We had booked a cottage, but were given a family room in a 3-story building next to the cottages. When we asked about it, the owner insisted--falsely--that this was what we had booked, claiming all cottages were already occupied. There are only about 5 or 6 actual cottages on the property; the rest are more like regular rooms in a homestay-style building, not what you'd expect from a 'resort'. The property itself is small and packed with buildings, lacking the spacious, relaxed feel of a true resort. The buffet was very limited, and while they told us a la carte was not available, we noticed they were serving it to a few other guests. Despite the room being neat and clean, the service and hospitality was disappointing. The pricing also felt a bit steep considering the quality of service and amenities provided, especially during peak season.
